Sam Point of View
The whole day I was with Ryder. He was really helping me through the shifting and bonding with my wolf "Snow" which is also ironic since my wolf is white which also adds up to Snow White. Anyway, Ryder is a great help in helping me block my wolf from listening to my thoughts. I have trouble sometimes, but I can manage in time.
We were walking in the hallway when suddenly he pulled me by the waist, and we walked in the opposite direction of the exit. "Ryder, classes are over, and the exit is that way," I said, pointing my thumb to the exit behind us.
"I forgot something," Was his reply. My eyebrows dropped.
"Then get it yourself," I said a little bit harshly. Ryder glanced at me and I gave an apologetic look. "Sorry, that came out on instinct." Three years of at each othe
Sam Point of View After the whole fight was over, everything got easier. Ryder and I get to use our first name instead of our last name. We don't fight a lot now. We argued but it didn't last long. We both became honest with ourselves. Everything was perfect. Except, of course, your wolf tries to cause chaos in your mind 24 hours a day. I still can't get the whole blocking right. Every now and then Snow, my wolf, barks at me at the back of my head. I guess she wasn't happy when I blocked her most of the time. 'A wolf's purpose was to guide you and not to sit back and watch you make mistakes over and over again.' My wolf nags. When Snow was able to break free from the block, she basically nags and scolds me the whole time. She is driving me insane.
"....dead," he said. Everything felt like it was spinning. It was like I wasn't here for a second. Like this wasn't real. The doctor touched my shoulder and it was like the ouch brought me back to reality and I crashed. In my head I'm yelling in my head,"No, this can't be real."Tears begin to fall like hard rain. I fall back to the chair behind me. I clutch my head in my hands. "He's gone. He's gone! I can't believe he is gone!" 'Sam, he's not gone.'Snow, my wolf said. I sniffed. I tried to wipe my tears away but they kept falling and falling- I-I can't stop crying! I hear my wolf cry out that our mate isn't dead. I shook my head and told her that he was.'No Sam, listen. When a person loses their mate they would feel pain in their heart like it is torn completely. But nothing happ
Xavier Point of view It's been a week since Ryder died and every single day I watched Samantha hurt herself. It's painful to see my sister in pain. It was like our parent's death all over again. The only difference was Ryder wasn't here to help anymore. I let out a loud sigh and rubbed my tired face. I went back upstairs to check up on her again to see her on her bed sleeping. I walked further inside to see that she had been crying a lot. I see her eyes puffing out and her hand clutching on Ryder's shirt that he left behind. I walked towards her table and opened her drawer and pulled out anything that could harm Sam. Every single day we kept anything that can kill herself but she always finds a way to get it back. I walked out of the room and into the kitchen. I place down the sharp object I found in Sam's drawer on t
Samantha Point of view "Sam... How are you?" I sighed. The question finally came up. We just finished walking around the mall and buying some snacks. We talked like we used to and we avoided talking about it until now. We were out of the mall and in the woods for privacy. Linda looks at me with a worried look, "I mean with everything." Linda asked. I couldn't help thinking about my mate. Now he's gone and it hurts a lot. My eyes started to get watery. "Painful. It hurts." my voice croaked. I covered my eyes to stop myself from crying again. "I don't want to talk about it." "Sam, you have to talk to someone about it." She said but I said no. I pulled my knees together and hid my face. I shake my head. "But I don't
Linda Point of view I know I shouldn’t worry and give her space but the longer I sit around and wait my anxieties will eat me up. “Sam!” I call out her name as I push around some bushes and branches. I should give her space but I just can’t do that. “Sam!” What if she fell, hit her head, or hurt herself intentionally again. The third one is most likely to happen and I’m the idiot who thought it was fine to give her some space. A branch I pushed back flung back to hit me in the head. I held my head and groaned. It wasn’t hard but I was starting to get frustrated with myself. It has been 30 minutes since she left and I’ve called several times but she never answers. I could not even find her. She said she wouldn’t be far. I am the worst best friend ever. "Where are you, Sam?" I look up. It’s going to be dark soon. Her brother
Samantha Point of view He opened the door then threw me in. I hit the dusty cemented ground. I coughed out the dust near my face. I place my hand on the ground. I tried to get up but they drugged me. I feel weak and dizzy. I just can't think straight. I heard the door shut leaving me in the dark cell. I tried to shift but I was too weak to even move off the ground. "Looks like they drugged you too." I turned my head to see a girl my age with torn dirty jeans and an oversize black shirt. With little light in our cell, I could still see how pale her skin was. I look warily at her. She sat on the ground with her side leaning on the wall. Her wrist was cuffed and chained to the wall. “I’m a vampire,” she says. She raises her chained cuffs, “Even though they feed me one small cup each year, they still think I have some strength
Samantha Point of view Screams. That’s all I hear. They just came suddenly in while we were sleeping and took Lily. She resisted but they overpowered her completely. Lily seems to have seen it coming. I wonder if this usually happens. My voice was too weak and dry to be even heard behind the door. They haven’t given us water at all. She screams again. I hear her begging this time to stop. It's been an hour and I have been banging on the door ever since they took her but I was too weak to bang louder than her screams. I tried to scream for them to let her go. Then when she started screaming, I tried to scream for them to let her go. It was pointless. I dropped my hands. They got tired of carrying the chains around my wrist. Unlike Lily’s which was tied to the wall, mine w
Samantha Point of view There was nothing at first. Feels like I was floating in a dark void. Then I feel like falling and falling until I hit the hard ground. I woke up suddenly panting and my heart was beating fast. Like I just came from a nightmare but I couldn’t remember anything. "Sam, I'm so glad you're awake!” Arms flung around me and I stiffened. I look to see a brunette girl hugging me. After a few seconds, she notices I was frozen and pulls away with a concerned look. “What's wrong?" She asked me. I looked at her, unfamiliarly. I couldn’t remember anything. "Who are you?" Ryder Point of view It's been four weeks but it felt like a century w
