Richard observed the strange change in his friend, and nudged him worriedly.

"Why are you looking at her this way?" He asked, but without taking his eyes off Liana, Edward replied.

"What do you mean?" The tone of his voice was still the same, but it did nothing to hide the cheerful tone, and that made Richard a little startled. He and Edward had been friends for many years, and this was the first and only time he had seen his friend act this way, especially over a woman so intensely.
