Lucas and Gemma Chapter 4

Lucas pov

After my dad's visit I took Gemma again and tucked her in so she could rest. Was I horny? Fuck yes but my mate needed sleep. Josh came in and smiled.

"heard about your moon goddess visit",he looked at me waiting.

"yes she loves popping up and surprising me",he sat.

"what she say exactly?",I sighed.

"our mates are considered a double powerhouse together. Others want that power for themselves and my all time favorite we got a battle coming. I was told to work hard to walk because it will happen soon",he raked fingers through his hair frustrated.

"when do we get breaks?",my thoughts exactly I sighed.

"I hope soon, I looked at Gemma, my mate needs some care and not stress. Moon goddess said once she trains fully the shit starts. I assume we are being watched",he looked up worry in his eyes.
