*ALORA*

He was the first to notice me. And I saw his eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at me from head to toe as if fighting to believe it was really me.

“Lorenzo, we need to talk.” I said, going straight to the point in case I get kicked out of here.

His jaw clenched and he looked away from me.

The other men stared at me, questioningly.

“Why are you addressing Don Lorenzo like that?”

That would be surprising to them, because to them, I was just a worker in this restaurant. At least, that’s what I appeared to be.

Ignoring them, I stared at Lorenzo who was staring at everything but my face.

“Please, Lorenzo. We really need to talk.”

“Do you know who she is, Don Lorenzo?” One of the men asked him but he didn’t answer.

“He obviously doesn’t know who she is. How can you be so impudent, young lady? It seems you do not like the job anymore. Where’s the manager of this place?”

“An employee can just fearlessly disrupt a meeting? Is this

*LORENZO* As her face drew closer to mine, I grew even more uneasy and I backed away. She pouted. “You can’t even kiss your wife now?”“My wife”I didn’t like the sound of that and I didn’t know why. “I feel uncomfortable.” I confessed. The woman who had introduced herself as Alora, my wife, slowly held my hand. “It’s okay. I understand. But the doctor said you might never recover your memories. I know you definitely feel confused without them, I’ll tell you everything we’ve done so far and I know you’re going to get used to me and love me just like you once did. Remember, you loved me to the point of having my name tattooed on you.” With that, she lifted up my shirt.I frowned seeing tattoos on my chest and on my waist. “Why would I get someone’s name tattooed on me? Did I lose on a bet or something?” “I’m not just someone. I’m your wife.” She reminded. Oh right. But I couldn’t understand why I felt no fondness towards her.I guess I lost my f

  • My Husband Wants An Open Marriage    CHAPTER 222: His personality

Fiona flew almost to the end of the continent and settled for a small town. There, she quickly arranged for a small apartment and moved in with Lorenzo. Though, she never liked this kind of life but she believed this was suitable for him. Living an opposite life from all the riches he was used to would never give rise to any chance of him ever regaining his memories. When Lorenzo came awake again, he was famished, she quickly had to go prepare something for him. She was trying her best to quickly get used to this kind of life. Even if she had always loved shopping, loved showing off her wealth, loved having people serve her, she had to give all that up. But she felt it was so worth it. At least this way, she’d get to be with Lorenzo for the rest of her life. Just the two of them, alone in this house, knowing absolutely no one in this town. Fiona was bubbling with excitement about what the future held. She had also brought some of her photoshopped picture

Fiona glanced up to see a confused looking Lorenzo. She watched his eyes darted around the room and then back at her. It was as if he was looking at her, expecting her to explain what was going on.But Fiona was equally confused. What was going on with him?Couldn’t he recognize her?She had expected his first response to be furious on seeing her, giving how he had told her off the last time. “Where…where am I? What happened?” “You are…” Fiona paused still not sure about how to explain things to him. “Who am I?”And that question took her completely off guard. “You don’t know who you are?”He blinked, looking around again and then paused as if trying to think about it and then he winced, looking in so much pain. This confusion was too much for Fiona and so, she had to get the doctor over. She watched the doctor examine Lorenzo, examining both his legs and arms. He confirmed he could feel them. The doctor also made him sit up, but he was

It was too late for Fiona to stop that accident. Just as she was close to Armani’s Group, she had gotten a call from Gael who had sounded so joyful about the car falling off the cliff. He had said he heard the crushing sound and there was no way anyone would survive that. Fiona had been so alarmed and ordered her driver to rush over there. When they got to the cliff, she got down from the car and rushed towards the edge, there, she saw the car in a wreck, just by the sea, a little tug would literally plunge the car into the sea. “Quick, we have to find a way to go down.”She wished she had arrived sooner but more than anything, right now, she wanted to see if she could still save Lorenzo. By the time, she and her driver managed to get to the car, they found both men covered in blood. She ordered her driver to bring Lorenzo out and be careful about it. When the driver brought Lorenzo out and felt his pulse, he confirmed to Fiona that he was still alive, bu

*ALORA* Marina was crying now. “I’ve prayed, I wish more than anything for Lorenzo to come back. Even if he doesn’t forgive me, I’ll keep apologizing, I’ll try everything I can to make up for how I ruined his childhood. I’ve tried to hold onto hope, Alora. But I feel we should be realistic. I know this is particularly harder for you and that was why I’ve been skeptical about telling you of this. It’s been a month, realistically…by now…he…”I shook my head. “No…” She sniffed. “This is also hard for me to accept. I’m only trying to console myself that maybe I can make up for my actions…maybe I can make it up to Lorenzo by being there for his woman with my grandson. But I know for a fact that I will carry this guilt for the rest of my life, knowing the last time I had seen my son was when I broke his heart for the umpteenth time, was when I had seen him in his saddest state. I should have apologized that day, but I still have you to thank, at least I know the days lea

*ALORA* I was lying on my side, hugging a pillow to my body. A knock sounded on my door. “Alora dear.” It was Milena.Delfina, Milena, Marina and Diego had started living in the house. I do not know why they think I needed 24/7 attention, I didn’t want to be a burden to anyone.I just wanted to wait until my Lorenzo come back. But try as I might, they refused to leave my side. Even if I didn’t mean to be a bother, I really did appreciate them looking after me. During this period, it made me feel less alone. It made me feel like I still had people who cared and loved me.Now, I just needed the best person in my life back and everything would be perfect. I heard her footsteps as she moved closer to the bed. “It’s almost noon, Delfina said you haven’t had breakfast yet.” “I’m not hungry.” “Alora, you only ate a little yesterday. Please come eat. You need to, especially for the baby.”I slowly sat up, placing my hand on my belly. “I
