“Hannah.” She turned and smiled at me. Her face, bathed in the morning sunlight, looked beautiful. Especially her smile. Her smile was as beautiful as a sunflower blooming in the morning. But above all, she had a heart as pure as unrefined gold.

Why did Jason abandon such a beautiful woman?

“Come here,” she said.

I sat down beside her, trying to steady my breath. “You should start exercising,” she said.

“You’re right. Being in the hospital for so long has made my body weak.”

“Here, this is for you.” Hannah handed me a box of milk and a sandwich.

Of course, I accepted it gratefully. I had eaten nothing since morning.

“Eat first, then we’ll talk,” she said. I watched her open the box of milk and sandwich, and then eat them.

The sandwich was delicious. The meat and cheese tasted amazing in my mouth. I never expected a sandwich could be so tasty.
