LOGINIsabella took her time inside the fitting room.
She carefully removed each piece of clothing, arranging them on the small armchair in the corner until she was wearing nothing but her underwear. However, she decided to keep her heels on. Then she examined herself in the mirror, adjusted a couple of strands of hair that didn't need fixing, and checked her makeup before giving her reflection one final look.
She knew exactly what she was doing.
And, more importantly, she knew who was waiting on the other side of the curtain.
When she finally stepped out, Harvey looked up and had to clench his jaw.
«Goddamn patience.»
Isabella had kept only her matching lingerie and heels, which made her legs look even longer as she approached him with a composure that was beginning to feel downright offensive. The worst part, however, wasn't having her standing in front of him like that, but discovering that the mirrors surrounding the space were doing their job far too well.
Harvey could watch her approach while simultaneously admiring the sway of her hips from several angles, including one particularly privileged view that confirmed that choosing this spot had been an excellent decision.
Isabella stepped onto the small circular platform and slowly turned toward him.
“Do you like the view, Mr. Sterling?”
Harvey let his eyes travel over her body without the slightest intention of concealing his appreciation.
“I haven't found a better one.”
He rose from the armchair unhurriedly, although his deliberate slowness had far more to do with effort than composure. As he walked toward her, he began loosening his tie, taking in the sight of Isabella reflected in every direction.
“This place is far too tempting for me, Mrs. Vaughn.” He stopped in front of the platform and deliberately lowered his gaze over her body before seeking out one of the reflections behind her. “And the view those mirrors are giving me of your ass in those heels is making what little patience I have disappear completely.”
Isabella smiled.
“And you're wearing far too many clothes compared to how little I'm wearing.”
“That can be remedied very quickly.”
“And who says I'm in a hurry?”
Harvey lifted his eyes to hers.
That sentence promised a particularly delightful afternoon.
He'd been absolutely right to cancel all his meetings.
Isabella caught his tie and pulled him closer. For a moment, it seemed as though she was going to kiss him, but she stopped just short of doing so and began undoing the knot without breaking eye contact. She slowly slipped the fabric from beneath his shirt collar and set it aside before sliding both hands over his chest and up to his shoulders.
Harvey remained still.
For now, this was her territory.
Isabella slipped his jacket down his arms and let it fall onto one of the armchairs. Then she pulled his shirt free from his trousers and began unbuttoning it, one button at a time, with a patience Harvey was beginning to consider a personal insult.
She knew it, too. He could see the amusement in her eyes every time she looked up at him.
“You're doing this on purpose.”
“Doing what?”
Harvey let out a dry laugh.
“Don't play games with me, Isabella.”
“I thought that was precisely what you came here for.”
He couldn't argue with that.
When she finally undid the last button, Isabella slid her hands up to his shoulders again and let his shirt meet the same fate as his jacket. Her fingers then returned to Harvey's chest and slowly traveled downward, following the contours of his abdomen until they reached his belt.
She unfastened the buckle and drew the leather strap through each belt loop without the slightest hurry.
Harvey still hadn't touched her.
With every passing second, that decision became a little more difficult to maintain.
Isabella set the belt aside and, to his surprise, crouched in front of him solely to untie his shoes. Harvey cooperated by slipping them off and waited for her to stand again.
The smile he found on her face confirmed that she wasn't finished tormenting him.
Isabella brought her hands to the button of his trousers and undid it with deliberate slowness. The strain against the fabric made the effect she was having on him perfectly obvious, and she lowered her gaze before looking back into his eyes.
“Looks like someone's getting impatient to come out.”
“You have no idea.”
Harvey made no move to stop her. He could have brought the game to an end in a matter of seconds, but he wanted to discover just how far she intended to take it.
Isabella caught the zipper and began lowering it, deliberately brushing against his erection beneath the fabric.
Harvey's jaw tightened again.
She smiled when she noticed.
She slipped two fingers beneath either side of his boxer briefs and began pulling them down along with his trousers, slowly lowering herself in front of him. Harvey stepped out of both garments and pushed them aside, but Isabella remained crouched.
She looked up at him.
“Take a step toward me.”
Harvey obeyed.
Isabella waited until he was close enough for her to lean forward and run her tongue over the tip of his cock.
Harvey closed his eyes and slowly released the breath he'd been holding.
“You're killing me, Isabella.”
“That's the idea.”
The smile had barely left her lips before she leaned forward again and took him into her mouth as deeply as her throat would allow.

Harvey was beginning to seriously consider traffic lights an unnecessary invention, especially when they seemed determined to turn red exactly one second before he could make it across an intersection.“Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue,” he repeated to himself, drumming his fingers against the steering wheel and glaring at the red light as though he could intimidate it into changing. It didn't work. The phrase did nothing to ease his impatience either, and when the light finally turned green, Harvey accelerated with such enthusiasm that he confirmed patience was still nowhere near becoming one of his defining qualities. He arrived at the address Isabella had sent him a few minutes later and parked in the first available space. When he called to let her know he was outside, she burst into laughter before telling him she was coming to open the door.“Were you just around the corner, or did you fly here?” Isabella asked as soon as she opened it.Harvey stood looking at her, his
There was a moment of silence before Harvey's laughter came through the phone, making Isabella's smile grow even wider.“Far too many clothes for my liking,” he replied, lowering his voice slightly.“Then perhaps I can help you with that.”“Is that an indecent proposition, Mrs. Vaughn?”Isabella glanced around the empty boutique and leaned one hip against a box.“One hundred percent indecent, Mr. Sterling. I just got the keys to my new place, and I want to christen it.”This time, Harvey didn't even need to think about it.“Send me the address. I'm on my way.”“Don't you even want to know what kind of place it is?”“Right now, the only thing I need to know is where it is.”“Now that's what I call efficiency,” Isabella replied with a laugh.“Two weeks ago, you told me patience wasn't one of my virtues. I'm trying to be consistent.”“I seem to recall that I was the one who said I found patience interesting.”“And I was the one who made it quite clear that I didn't share that particular
MAISON BELLHaute CoutureIsabella stood on the sidewalk for several seconds, her face tilted slightly upward and a smile she couldn't suppress spreading across her lips as she admired the sign that had just been installed above the storefront. It was exactly as she'd imagined it, perhaps even better. The elegant lettering she'd chosen stood out against the newly finished facade without appearing excessive, while the words Haute Couture, considerably smaller beneath the name, completed the sophisticated appearance she'd envisioned ever since Maison Bell had been nothing more than an idea scribbled onto one of the last pages of her sketchbook.Bell.No one needed to know where it came from. To anyone else, it would simply be the name of the brand: a short, elegant, easily remembered word. To Isabella, however, it meant something entirely different: a fragment of herself hidden within her own name.Isabella.No Vaughn, no Brooks, and no surname identifying the family she'd once belonged
Isabella was strolling through the park without any particular hurry when a repetitive movement caught her attention.A man was sitting on a bench, hunched over a blazer as he attempted to repair a tear along one of its side seams. At first glance, there was nothing extraordinary about the scene, but Isabella slowed her pace until she came to a complete stop.It wasn't the man she was looking at, but his hands. The needle he was using was far too thick for the fabric, and the thread wasn't suitable either. Even so, his stitches were small, remarkably even, and positioned in such a way that, once the seam was closed, the tension would be distributed without distorting the garment too much. With better materials, the repair would have been practically invisible.Isabella watched him for a few more seconds before approaching the bench and sitting down at the opposite end.The man briefly glanced up at her, but Isabella merely smiled, and he returned to his task. She made no attempt to st
Isabella was sitting in the middle of her bed, surrounded by pencils, fabric swatches, and sheets of paper covered in sketches, when her phone screen lit up with a message from Thomas.Thomas: I'm sorry, sweetheart. I have an urgent meeting. I won't be able to make it home for dinner.Isabella read the message and discovered, with a certain sense of satisfaction, that it stirred absolutely nothing inside her.No disappointment, no sadness, not even the quiet anger that, months earlier, would have kept her awake until she heard the front door open. She'd had an extraordinarily good day, and there was still a smile lingering on her face that had a great deal to do with two orgasms which, for the first time in a very long while, hadn't been the work of her own hand. She checked the time and decided she ought to at least play her part.Isabella: Today is the anniversary of when we started dating. We were supposed to have dinner together. The lie brought a small smile to her lips. Not beca
