My Life, My Choices

I launched myself at Grant only to be thrown to the ground and laughed at “You think you can take me out, little sister?” Grant whispered into my ear as he grabbed my hair“I will fight you if it means you don’t kill my only friend!” I shouted at him and spit in his face. I used his reaction as my chance to attack him.  My parents were too busy packing their things to realize I had come downstairs, I had to hold in my laughter because I knew that my dad would kill me if I gave away my position. The sirens were finally in hearing distance, I quickly moved out of sight from my parents and listened to my mother cry as dad yelled at her to grab the stuff and run to the car. The cops busted into the house and saw my parents trying to run, my parents didn’t make it far. As the cops took my parents out I talked with the woman on the phone and told her everything was alright.
