Lucille's POV - Before the ceremonies

The elders held a meeting to discuss the ceremonies and prepare for the coronation.

"Something is coming. There hasn't been a pairing like this in a thousand years, " Nicolas declared.

"Where are the scrolls on this prophecy?"

The elders bowed their heads in respect to me.

"How do we know you are who you say you are and not a witch?"

I hate some council members. They can be so blinded by their hate of new things. They just don't think right.
