CHAPTER EIGHT

"Larry Larry Larry, I see that you've let your curiosity get the best of you ." The voice mocked, holding him firmly.

Larry gulped and strained his neck to see the face of his captor.

"Gamma Mendez," He yelped.

The man holding him was the pack's third in command (gamma). He was in charge of pack members residing faraway from Brighton and was always on the move, dropping in and checking on them from time to time. He was also Nicole's father and the powerfully built man that had announced Andrew and Nicole's engagement on the stage in the pack hall.

Mendez chuckled darkly, pushing him to the door which gave way easily, allowing Larry to fall into the old Alpha's study.

"Look who I caught eavesdropping on your conversation." Mendez said, stepping over Larry.

"Mendez." Douglas acknowledged with a nod.

"Gamma Mendez," Caleb bowed.

Mendez smiled sinisterly and gestured towards the fallen shelves and broken glass.

"I see Caleb is still trying to fight for a position that isn't his." He
