Eugene bolted up straight from his bed and woke up with his face wet with his own tears. He subconsciously touched his necklace as soon as he woke up.

The blaring sound of his TV played on the background as it was left active while she was drowsing since he unknowingly fell asleep on the sofa while watching his favorite show on Netflix.
