Emery’s POV

I stood in front of the mirror, staring at my reflection. I was dressed in a black silk gown carrying lots of embodiment. I refused picking other colors and just keen to my favorite color, while Becca and the rest thought I was representing Kaiser’s pack.

“You’re so beautiful!” That is what they said to me each time they dressed me and I smiled.

“Thank you!”

Becca led me down to the garage, and wow, there were lots of cars around. Different cars of different names were parked properly, and my mouth was hung open. I never expected him to have so many cars.

“Please wait for a while the Alpha will be here soon!’ Becca said then she left, leaving me all alone.

I wrapped my hands around my body, leaning close to a car, when the air around me suddenly turned cozy cold. The atmosphere changed, and I felt a different and new wave of feeling.

I shook it off, but it became thicker and thicker, and it was like someone was around me.

“Who’s there?” I snapped my head backwards but saw no one.

Even if someone was present, I still wouldn’t know. With the cars all around, how would I know if someone is hiding behind it.

“Is anybody in here?” I asked loudly.

I started taking some steps forward because I wasn’t at ease. Suddenly a hand touched me, making me jerk up in shock.

“Ahh…”

“It’s me, it’s me, relax!” Kaiser said, touching my trembling shoulders, and I calmed a bit.

“I think someone is in here,” I said to him.

Kaiser looked around before facing me back,”Wait here,” He said.

“No,” I quickly shouted, holding onto him tightly.

“I..I..I will go with you!” I said gluing my body with his.

He stared down at me, then a smile crossed his lips. He looks amused, why?

“It’s rare to see you act romantic with me” He said with a sheepish smile, and I quickly pulled away.

“Get in!” He pushed the door open for me to get in.

I glanced at him, then at the door stretched wide, “I don’t need your help” I said involuntarily, getting in.

Kaiser got in through the other side and drove out of the garage. The sky was dark but not too dark because it’s 7:30pm.

I stared out the window, staring at the places he drove by, and it was so beautiful in the moonlight. The houses and the restaurants I haven’t seen before were really so mesmerizing, and Kaiser’s pack is really lovely.

I glanced at him and was shocked to see him staring straight at me.

“Better watch where we’re going to, or else we’re going to crash,” I said and heard him laugh before looking away.

“That can only cause minor damage to me,” he jested.

“Well, we’re two people here, and the other is human, so there's a 1,000 percent possibility that she might die!” I said, biting on my lower lip.

He’s thinking about himself and not mine.

“Don’t do that!” He said, and I stare at him confusedly.

“Don’t do what?” I asked, not understanding him.

“Stop biting on your lip” He hoarse and I quickly released my lips.

Then the words of the strange man replayed in my ears. He wants us to mate, for there’s danger ahead, and also she will disappear.

The man's words were so confusing, but I used the day to think and figure out what he meant. It was Lilian who will disappear.

If we mate and he marks me, then she will no longer be around my mate, but what if Kaiser decides to cheat on me?

I took a deep sigh, closing my eyes and then forcing them open again. I have to try, he needs to be mine, for he’s my mate and mine alone.

A witch can’t be dragging my man with me, never, I will never agree to that. She needs to know the true power of a wolf mate. Though I’m not one but I came from the family of werewolves, so I am one of them.

“You want to help me bite on it?” I asked, licking my lips, and I watched his Adam's apple going up and down.

“I will be glad to!” He said, and I smiled.

I stared at him as a naughty thought flashed through my head. I stretched my hands forward and placed them on his chest, rubbing on it.

He was actually putting on a black sleeve with black pants. His black hair was jet back neatly, with his sparkling designer shoes and his cloths were well ironed. Damn he looks strikingly handsome that I fear other girls wil drool on him.

His outfit and mine matched, representing his great pack, Black Moon Pack.

I touched his neck and held it like I was about to strangle him, but I don’t want my mate dead. In as much as I would love to make him suffer for what he did to me, I just can’t bring myself to do it.

My hands trailed down to his pants, and I heard him grunt. He likes my touch. Fuck, a novice like me.

I heard on his belt when I suddenly felt the car suddenly moving slow. I look ahead, and we were in front of a pack house.

“Oh, we’re here?” I said, retreating my hands when he gripped them tightly.

“You’re tempting me!” He said, flashing his eyes at me.

“This is just the beginning!” I smiled, getting down from the car, and almost immediately I bumped into someone as my body suddenly became tense.

“Ouch!” I winced, rubbing my forehead.

“I’m so sorry!” The person spoke, and he sounded so familiar.

“You!” I said, looking up, and I moved back a bit, eventually missing a step.

Luckily, he caught me on time as his hands wrapped around my waist tightly and my body suddenly turned hot.

I heard a loud growl in my ears, forcing me to push him away from me. My mate was all furious as he stared past me, but he doesn’t look fazed; he dares him all the time. He isn’t scared nor gives a damn about him, and it’s only him who acts that way.
