Chapter Nineteen

She pulled me in closer and bent down to my ear. "The question is little one, should you be scared or shouldn't you be."

Pulling away but still having that iron clad grip on my arm I looked at her sharp angled face and wide gray eyes. Which looked darker with all the dark shadow she had on. Realizing that this woman looks somewhat familiar. But surely I would have remembered someone like her, but I couldn't figure it out.

"Do I know you?" I asked her.

She started pulling me towards the table she was sitting at and I had a feeling I was about to have another uncomfortable conversation with a complete stranger. Two in one day. Yay me.

"Sit." She growled as she pushed me down into the slightly padded chair.

She sat down and crossed her legs then looked at me with a crooked smile on her face.

"You may not rememeber me, but I most definitely know who you are. And if I were you I would just sit there and listen carefully."
