Chapter Sixteen

We sat there for a moment in silence. Me bracing myself for the onslaught that was about to come at me, and him...well I assume he was trying to get his lies straight.

"I can assure you that I will not lie to you. What you decide to be the truth is your decision."

"Okay then. Shoot." I tell him sitting back and crossing my arms across my chest. And wouldn't you know he mocks my postion before he starts to speak.

"Our realms weren't so different. We got along for all intents and purposes and in some cases we lived in harmony. It wasn't until your parents, the King and Queen, decided they wanted to explore our differences. You see, the fairies and faeries differ in many ways, but where the most differences lie is in our powers. Faeries have always been able to harness our powers in certain fields and we recharged faster as opposed to the fairies. Your parents wanted to know how we did such things and in their desperation they started to take our kind and experiment. We noticed the dis
