Also, make sure--" I stand in the kitchen with my mother, watching her give detailed instructions to the staff about the likes and dislikes of my future family. I zone out during her second lecture because my mind keeps going back to what I said to that man. I'm rambling uncontrollably, and now I can't help but wonder what he will think of me.
