CHAPTER SEVEN – Waiting

Stella's POV

I looked at my phone for what felt like the tenth time.

Twenty minutes. Jaxon had said he would only be a few minutes.

I sighed softly and looked toward the arena entrance again.

"How long does it take to talk to a coach?" I muttered to myself.

Players walked past me one after another, some carrying hockey bags over their shoulders while others laughed with their teammates.

Every time the door opened, I lifted my head, hoping to see Jaxon.

Every time, it was

CHAPTER NINETY Sizex — The Ancient RogueStella’s POVBy the time I reached the fighting ground, almost everyone in the pack was already there. The entire place was crowded, with wolves standing around the large open area where the challenge would take place. Some of the older members stood closer to the elders, while the younger wolves gathered behind them, whispering among themselves as they waited for the trial to begin.I could feel the tension in the air even before anyone explained what was happening.Jaxon and Darius were already standing at the top of the fighting ground, facing the elders.I looked at Jaxon. He appeared calm, but I knew him well enough to notice the seriousness in his eyes. This was different from everything we had faced before. There was no hockey rink.No crowd cheering for a game.No referee who could stop everything when someone was hurt. This was a challenge that involved his position as Alpha and I had no idea what they were about to make him do.I mov

  • My Plus-Sized Hockey Luna   Standing Beside You

CHAPTER NINETY FIve — STANDING BESIDE YOUStella’s POVI stayed in my room for several minutes after leaving the dining but I could not stop I could not stop thinking about what I had heard, especially the part about Darius becoming Alpha if Jaxon failed the first challenge.I knew Jaxon had been under pressure since we arrived, but I had not realized how much was at stake.I finally left my room and walked through the quiet hallway until I found him standing near the balcony, looking out at the pack.He seemed lost in thought.I stood there for a moment before speaking. “Jaxon.”He turned immediately. The moment he saw me, his expression softened. “You should be resting.”“I was trying to, but then I heard something I think you should explain to me.”He looked at me for a moment, then sighed. “Aboutt the one from the hall'I nodded. He looked away. “I didn’t want you worrying about it tonight.”“That doesn’t make it better.”He looked back at me. “I know.”He walked toward me slowly

  • My Plus-Sized Hockey Luna   The Alpha's House

CHAPTER NINETY-THREE — THE ALPHA’S HOUSEStella’s POVBy the time we arrived at Jaxon’s alpha's house, I was already exhausted from everything that had happened at the pack hall.I had thought coming back to the pack would be simple.I thought I would stay with Jaxon, watch him deal with whatever responsibilities he had here, and eventually return to my normal life.Instead, I had watched the elders prepare to replace him, listened to them announce an Alpha trial, and somehow ended up being dragged into the whole situation simply because I was standing beside him.I still didn’t understand what they meant when they said I would be part of his trial. That was something I needed Jaxon to explain. The moment we reached the front door, it opened before we could knock. One of the maids stood there with a warm smile. “Welcome back, Alpha. We knew you would be arriving today, so everything has already been prepared, and dinner is waiting for you in the dining room.”Jaxon nodded as he steppe

  • My Plus-Sized Hockey Luna   The Alpha Trial

CHAPTER NINEty Three – THE ALPHA TRIAL Jaxon’s POV The moment we entered the pack territory, I knew something was wrong. The road was usually quiet whenever I came back from the city, especially during the afternoon, but that day there were people everywhere. Wolves were leaving their homes and moving in the same direction, most of them walking quickly toward the pack hall. I slowed the car. Stella looked through the window, trying to understand what was happening. “Why is everyone going to that side” she asked. I frowned. “I don’t know but that's the pack hall" I looked at the people again. There were too many of them for it to be a normal gathering. Some were dressed formally, while others were carrying things that looked like they had been prepared for a ceremony. My hand tightened around the steering wheel. "“Something is happening.” Stella turned toward me. “Should we ask someone?” Before I could answer, I noticed several members of the pack looking at our car. The m

  • My Plus-Sized Hockey Luna   The One Behind The Trees

CHAPTER Ninety Two – The One Behind the TreesStella’s POVJaxon charged toward the rogue so quickly that I barely had time to understand what was happening. One second, I was standing there frozen, watching the wolf move through the trees, and the next, Jaxon was already running toward it with a speed I had never seen before.I wanted to follow him, but my legs refused to move. Then I heard a voice.“Please!”The sound was weak and frightened, and it came from somewhere behind the rogue. My heart stopped. That voice sounded familiar.I stared through the trees, trying to see clearly as Jaxon reached the rogue and forced him away from whoever was standing behind him.The rogue turned aggressively, but Jaxon attacked before he could move toward the person again. They collided with a loud growl that made me step backward.I could barely see them through the trees, but I could hear the struggle as Jaxon pushed the rogue farther away. Then I heard the frightened voice again. “Please, jus

  • My Plus-Sized Hockey Luna   The Wolf I Had Never Seen

CHAPTER Ninety One – The Wolf I Had Never Seen Stella’s POV The drive to the pack was much more comfortable than my first trip there because this was already my third time going, and I was beginning to get used to the roads and the quiet surroundings. Jaxon had the music playing softly as he drove, and I sat beside him while we talked about different things. Every now and then, he would make a comment about something on the road, and I would laugh at him before returning my attention to the music. For a while, everything felt normal. I looked out through the window, watching the trees pass by as the music continued to play. Then, without warning, Jaxon reached toward the dashboard and turned the music off. I looked at him. “What happened?” He didn’t answer. His eyes remained on the road, but his attention seemed to be somewhere else. I watched him for a moment before asking again. “Jaxon?” He raised one hand slightly, asking me to remain quiet. I immediately b
