“It seems while I’ve been busy watching over the pack, you got busy maturing huh? You’re no longer that cute little cry baby” He suddenly says with a tease and I flush, embarrassed and ready to protest.

But the warm smile he shows me, has me retreating and revealing a haughty smile, pride sprouting from the truth in his words. “I can become even better than this and surprise you in the future” I boast, receiving a bonk on the head.

“Nah, I don’t think you need any more dose of maturity after this. We need you to remain our precious little girl forever, that’s much better and safe”.

The hell? I fume, glaring at Harrison who wiggles his brows at me. “Safe- what the hell are you talking about?! You can’t keep me this way like this forever- I’m not some pampered pet!”

But my protest only has my brothers laughing at me as I look down, boiling in anger and a red face from shame. Ugh, I’ll forever remain a little kid in their eyes…but then, I don’t feel bad at all.
