Madeline’s P.O.V.

I was with Luna Hailley when the whole pack house shook badly as if we were facing an earthquake.

We looked at each other, and the next second, we ran towards the meeting room.

I was telling her about our latest findings on the attack on our patrollers last night before this happened.

“It’s Alpha, right?” I asked Luna Hailley anxiously.

“Yeah,” she replied anxiously as we continued running at the maximum speed.

She burst open the door, throwing the door to the wall, causing a loud bang there.

“Lucifer.” She screamed while running towards her mate.

I also wanted to run to Adolphus but stopped midway when I saw both Sylvester and Adolphus standing together.

I smelled the tension in the room as if it were thicker than gunpowder. Both Adolphus and Sylvester were silent but I could feel how stiff their postures were.

Alpha Lucifer immediately calmed down and immediately embraced her tightly.

“What happened? Why are you so angry?” She asked him, her voice shaking badly.
