Without hesitation, I stepped on the gas to its limit so that I could rush over to the hotel, which was shown in the video's background.

After kicking the hotel room's door down, I saw my girlfriend, Amethyst Wyndham, clutching the sheets to cover herself in alarm. It was a shame that she failed to conceal the love bites and hickeys dotting across her neck.

My younger brother, Lance Knight, tossed a used condom at my feet provocatively.

"It's such a shame that you've arrived a little too late, Archer. Otherwise, I could've taught you how to pleasure Amethyst in bed."

The smell of sex was so potent in the suite that it made me nauseous.

I wasted no time in approaching Lance quickly. After yanking him out of bed, I landed a punch on his smug face.

Amethyst shrieked at me immediately. "Have you gone insane, Archer Knight? Calm the hell down!"

I turned to look at her with bloodshot eyes, my gaze soon landing on her lips that had gone red and swollen from kissing Lance.

"How the hell am I supposed to stay calm, huh? You're the one who slept with Lance, for crying out loud!"

Lance scrambled up to his feet from the floor, his lips already curled into a sneer.

"You're already this close to breaking down, huh? I told you before, Archer, that I'd ruin everything you have, be it your love life or your career!"

I raised my fist once again. But before I could punch Lance properly, Amethyst quickly shielded him from me. To make things worse, she even slapped me in the face.

The loud slap reverberated in the suite. I could feel stinging pain flaring from my left cheek.

With a heartrending expression, Amethyst wiped the blood off the corner of Lance's lip for him. Then, she turned to yell at me once again.

"Lance is your younger brother! What makes you think you can beat him up like that?"

My nails dug into my palms deeply. It hurt so much that I could barely breathe.

I recalled how worried I was when Amethyst never responded to any of my text messages a few hours ago. Now that I thought about it, I felt extremely stupid.

She was too busy having a passionate moment with Lance at that time. As if she'd have time to pay me any attention!

Lance seemed to think that my situation wasn't pathetic enough, so he decided to rub salt into my wound in an aggrieved manner.

"Archer, we both share the same bloodline. While you're already the CEO of the company, I have nothing under my name. That's why Amethyst decided to make it up to me in bed. Don't tell me you're going to be this petty over something so trivial, are you?"

Amethyst glared at me in dissatisfaction after hearing Lance's accusation.

"There's no need for you to make a big deal out of this. All Lance wants is to have a taste of what it feels like to be with a woman. If you're seriously uncomfortable about this whole thing, I can always get my hymen repaired at a hospital."

The thing was, Amethyst knew that I hated being betrayed the most, yet she insisted on making me yield to her by sweeping everything under the rug.

I replied stiffly, "No need for that. Since you're that eager to sleep with Lance, we can call off the wedding."

Then, I turned on my heel and left the hotel suite. Little did I know that the paparazzi had already been tipped off, so they were waiting for me outside the suite.
