Chapter 1 - First Meeting

Eleven years have gone by; When I was in my senior year in high school, I met him. A pretty twenty-six years old average man approached me. I never imagined he would be used as my first boyfriend.

I am Akira Kaneko, a sixteen-year-old high school student, A girl of unusual beauty, with short black hair. My eyes are round, perfectly gray, and my skin is quite brown, and I have a pretty sharp nose. My height is about 152 cm. That's why my friends call me Chibi.

(Chibi is a Japanese slang word describing something short)

I am a  hardworking student who loves myself but is very fragile when it comes to love.

Eleven years ago, At Ibaraki Prefecture High School.

It is a beautiful sunny day; It's already lunch break. Also, a warm breeze kisses my face. I am sitting at my desk while I am looking outside the window. The basketball team plays at the quadrangle, and some random girls keep cheering in unison for them. And I am the only one left in our classroom.

Today is odd; how come? Because in the past few days, our room filled with laughter, shouting, and noise: but today, why am I the only one left? "Oh, I am so bored. Tsk. I forgot to bring my lunch. I am too lazy to eat at the cafeteria, and I hate crowded places." I said while sighing.

The clock continues to run, and I wouldn't say I like it. And I want to go home now, but I have some subjects left. While I was whining, I overheard footsteps coming towards me from the corridor.

"Oh, What is that sound? I don't think a ghost exists in the afternoon. What the heck?" I said with a murmuring voice while trembling.

But suddenly, I felt something poking on my shoulder. I hurriedly turned around. Then, I saw an average man, Maybe in his late 20's. Wearing a suit and I can tell that he is not a student and, of course, not part of a faculty member. 

All of a sudden, His eyes and mine meet for a moment. His sparkling brown hazelnut eyes keep me chilled and mesmerize my entire body. The color of his hair is beautiful medium-length black charcoal. His lips are pink like plum cherry blossoms. And his nose is ideally pointed; in short, He is Handsome. He's my type.

My heart pounds faster than usual, just like we are the only people left in the whole universe. Later on, He starts talking to me.

"Hi, Miss. Are you okay?" he said with a bit of a smirk on his face.

"He..He... Hello. Yes, I'm alright. Thanks for asking." I was startled and, of course, shy at the same time with a stuttering voice.

"Ehm, What can I do to you, Mister?" - I asked him.

"May I ask you something?"

"Yes, Sure," I responded quickly.

"Do you know where Yozora is?"

" Hmm. Yuki Yozora? Yeah, I knew her, but I guess, Erm. She is now at the library." -I am so hesitant to reply to his question.

"Okay, Thank you." He immediately left the room. My eyes gaze at him too while leaving the room; his handsome face engraves deeply in my mind.

A few minutes later, My Classmates are starting to arrive, and the bell continues chiming. 

Our afternoon class will start now. 

Our Mathematics teacher, Miss Enna, performs her lesson. However, I'm not too fond of Math. For the whole duration of our class, I keep talking to myself. 

"Ehhh, What is wrong with me? Why do I keep thinking of that guy? I remembered his gaze, and he is so handsome. I forgot to ask his name." I said in my mind with a regretful expression written all over my face. Suddenly, I remembered he was looking for Yuki Yozora.

Yozora has been my Classmate since I was in my first year. She is my close friend but not my best buddy. She and I often share our secrets and personal affairs. "Ahem. Okay. I will ask Yuki later." I said.

During our class, Thoughtfully, I can stop smirking and imagining that guy. "Am I in love with him? No. That's ridiculous." - I murmur.

Finally, the class ended; I'm in a hurry to talk to Yuki. I tend to find her. After a minute, I saw her going down the stairs. CLOMP! CLOMP! CLOMP! I quickly ran to approach her. "Yozora! Please wait for me. I have something to tell you." I screeched.

But after I reach her, I am so flustered about what I witnessed— I saw something. "I, I can't believe it; What the heck is happening? that guy and Yuki are… WHAT?"
