Chapter 7- Misunderstandings

Lily's POV

I was wearing a simple white dress while entering the Harrison mansion. The place is crowded and everyone is turning their head in my direction as I walk along the pavement.

This Rogue's parents' wedding anniversary party. Of course, me and my mom are invited. But mom is sick.

I went straight to the pool area and found the couple talking to some honorable business tycoons.

I was carrying a paper bag in my hand. Inside lies my gift for them.

"Lily!"

I turned to the side and saw my cousin Louie coming in my direction. Mom sent her on her behalf. I smiled as I kissed her cheek.

"Hey!"

She roamed her eyes around. "You didn't come with your husband?"

"He hasn't arrived?"

Louie protruded her lips and shook her head.

"I'll just greet Rogue's parents."

I walked towards the couple and after they saw me, they immediately flashed a smile and excused themself from the tycoons.

"Lily, honey! You came!"

I smiled and kissed mama's cheek. "Good evening, mama. Good evening, papa."
