STEPHEN

The late afternoon sun bled through the trees as I walked beside my father in the palace garden, the scent of roses and damp earth curling through the warm air. His hands were clasped behind his back, his posture calm. Mine weren’t. My fists stayed clenched at my sides, every step thrumming with urgency.

"Father," I said, the word stiff in my throat. "I need your help."

He turned his head slightly, brows furrowing. "With what, son?"

I kept my voice steady barely. "I need you to open the Spirit Realm. I want to speak to the Moon Goddess."

That stopped him cold. He faced me fully, eyes narrowing. "And why, exactly, would you want to do something so dangerous?"

My jaw tensed. “It’s for Selena. She can’t stay like this. I won’t let her lose her memories forever.”

For a moment, there was only silence between us, the kind that presses down on your chest and makes it hard to breathe. Then he shook his head slowly.

“I can’t do that,” he said, voice low. “Opening the gate to the Spirit

JULIAI’ve fought dozens of wolves, many older and stronger. Not once have I been taken down so easily. One second I was on my feet, ready to strike the next, I was out cold. And now, I’m waking up chained in some dark, unfamiliar room. The metallic sting of magic-laced chains bites into my wrists. I tug hard, muscles flexing, but the more I struggle, the tighter the chains wrap around me, almost like they’re alive. A low growl rumbles in my throat as panic swells in my chest. This isn't just physical restraint. It’s sorcery."What the hell…" I mutter, yanking again, harder this time. Nothing. My breathing quickens.I blink, switching to wolf vision, hoping I can at least see through the darkness but even that fails me. A dense veil of black presses around me, thick and unrelenting.“Let me go!” I snarl, voice echoing through the room. “Do you hear me? Show your damn face!”No answer.Fear, hot and sudden, claws its way up my spine. But I shove it down. I’m Julia daughter of Elias, he

ANGELAThe room was still unnaturally still. Only the soft rustle of the curtains and the sound of my daughter's steady breathing broke the silence.I knelt beside her, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her skin was pale, untouched by the sun, her lashes resting delicately against her cheeks. She looked so peaceful too peaceful for someone who had suffered so much.Leaning in, I pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. “Daughter,” I whispered, my voice trembling. “Before your eyes open again, I swear on the Moon Goddess, Julia and every soul who dared to hurt you will regret it. I’ll make them feel every ounce of the pain they put you through. And when you finally wake… they’ll bow at the sound of your name.”Her hand remained limp in mine, but I squeezed it gently anyway.“You’re a beta’s daughter. You should’ve been honored, not discarded like a broken fang just because your father is gone. The Alpha took you in as her own, but still… they treated you like dirt. That ends now.

ANGELAStephen’s pupils flared. A muscle twitched in his jaw. Slowly, stiffly, he leaned back in his chair, fingers curling into fists until his knuckles turned white. He recognized it.The handwriting. The truth. And that recognition hit him like a blade to the chest guilt slicing through him, rage simmering just beneath the surface.Good.Let it burn.I stood still, letting silence stretch between us like a wire pulled taut. “Tell me,” I said quietly, “who does this handwriting belong to?”His gaze darkened. His hand shifted, claws breaking through skin, his wolf fighting to the surface. “I’ll handle it,” he muttered.I tilted my head, lips curling into a cold smile. “There’s no need to handle it, mighty Stephen. I won’t let the person behind this go unpunished. No matter who it is.”He didn’t reply, and I stepped closer, my voice soft but edged with steel. “It’s better we work together now. Because I have a few things you need to know.”He stayed quiet, but I saw it in his eyes he

ANGELAThe hospital’s air reeked of antiseptic and stale sorrow, but none of that compared to the rot crawling beneath my skin.Selena.My daughter. She looked like sleep had stolen her from the world a pale ghost of the fierce girl I once knew only from whispered stories and old photos. Now I stood over her, fists clenched, fury clawing its way up my spine. If Julia did this to her if she dared to tamper with Selena’s mind I’d drag her through every circle of hell with my own hands.I had missed her first steps. Her first shift. Every scraped knee and sleepless night. I didn’t know what stories haunted her dreams or what scars she had to hide with a smile.Stephen locked me away like I was some villain, but the real monsters walked free and one of them had laid her filthy hands on my child. My breath caught, then turned sharp with rage.I might be older now, but the fire in my bones hadn't dimmed it had only learned to burn quieter. More deadly.People had forgotten who I was.Back i

STEPHEN"Hello, Angela."The words hung in the air like dust motes in the dim light. My boots echoed softly on the stone floor as I stepped inside the room. It smelled of mildew and forgotten years. The walls, once white, now wore a dull gray with streaks of time and silence. Angela sat on the cot, unmoving at first until my voice reached her.She turned. Slowly. Her eyes, sunken and shadowed, found mine, and I saw the flicker of life that refused to be extinguished. There was no scream, no outburst just a ghost of a smile, dry and cracked, as if it hurt to show expression after all this time."You're not dead," she whispered."Neither are you," I replied, forcing calm into my tone. Inside, I burned. I hated this. Her. The memories she carried. But I needed her now.I walked toward her with the kind of slow confidence she used to mock. The past lay heavy between us, but I wasn’t here for that.“I need your help.”Her mouth twitched, as if laughter was too foreign a reaction.“The grea
