~ONE YEAR LATER~

New York is much better seeing it live than on magazines and television.

Seeing it with my own eyes made me believe that coming here was the best decision after all.

I thanked the cab driver and hauled my small backpack onto my shoulder, then stared at the coffee shop in front of me.

It was practically made of glass and nothing else, and man did it look fancy.

I pulled out my phone to ensure that I was at the right address, then pulled on my cap before making my way through.

It was early in the morning, but there were not more than 5 people.

For a renowned coffee shop in the heart of Manhattan, I expected it to be flooded. But I guess that’s what you get for visiting a high-end coffee shop. I would probably look like a stain inside the marble black floors, finely polished to perfection had it not been used for Gabriel's money.
