I got up and turned off the lights to my room and the bathroom, crawled into bed, and brought the covers up over my chest. Moments later, Derrick got under the covers with me. He was waiting for me to yell at him and tell him to get out, I suppose. Derrick is right, though. I didn't feel like being alone after what happened with Caden. I rolled over on my side so I wasn't facing Derrick and prayed for sleep to wash over me, but it wouldn't come. DERRICK*
