Overcoming Chapter Sixteen

Tonight's the last night Emberly, and I have together before I take her to Canyon. I'm thankful we had this last week off, and we're free from having to work. Emberly and I have taken full advantage of the freedom. As well as spending as much time with mom and dad as we could because, let's face it, even though I live in the same city, they will never see me once football practice, games, and college classes come along. Emberly helped me look through my schedule, and I realized there was one class I would need to drop.

There was no way I could keep a high GPA and play college football along with the class load I had initially put in for. I could drop two classes and remain within the full-time class load to stay in ordnance with my athletic scholarship. But I haven't decided if I will drop another class or not. I figured I could go to the course a couple of times, and if it seemed I couldn't handle it, I could drop it as well. I could always take summer classes to compensate
