Chapter 21: "Confessions and confusions"

Kristina Valdez POV

As the night consumed the sky, everyone got ready to sleep but I wasn't able to sleep well at night especially if it's not my room so I sneak out my room very quietly wearing my fluffy slippers and cotton pajamas. My hair was messily tied up in a bun.

I carefully examined outside if there were anyone but there wasn't so I quietly went out and checked the rooftop but it was locked. So instead, I went downstairs, just stayed at the lounging area.

Suddenly I saw Kevin working at something this late at night just beside the lounging area. I'm sure he saw me too but I still hid behind the sofa.

Kevin laughs, "You know that it's past curfew, right?"

"I could say the same to you."

"Look, you don't have to say anything about earlier, you know? I respect your feelings and privacy so it'll be up to you."
