Chapter 7

I walked into the house, feeling bloated as little pains hit my abdomen.

Those nightmares have started. Luckily I'm prepared, now I better go eat and take my pills.

I hate periods.

Today is just one of those terrible first days where painkillers are close to being useless. They don't even brush the pain. A hot water bottle will make me nauseous and I'll eventually throw up so that's out of the question. I guess all I can do is toss and turn throughout the whole night until morning.

'Knock knock'

"Come in." I said, straightening up and putting on a smile.

The door opened to Milan's head. He faced me before completely walking into the bedroom.

"Hi, Mom." He smiled as he made his way over to me.

"Hi, my Love. What's up?" I smiled even though I actually wanted to scream in agony and not speak at all. But for him, I would swallow the pain and smile.

"Nothing much. It's just that Dad said you aren't okay, so I wanted to check up on you." He shyly said as he looked at me with a bit of
