His Lilith

She got a hug! By who?

She froze for some seconds before drawing away from the hug to get a better sight of the person who hug her.

"Nexine!" She called out with joy. "H... how come you are here?"

"Oh come on Lilith are you not happy to see me?" Nexine asked as he made his way to her bed to sit comfortably on it.

"But l am" she hurried to say as she closed her door and went to sit beside him. "I am, l just wonder how you got to know my room because it has not been long l arrived".

"I can't believe you just asked me that Lilith" Nexine looked at her displeased. "I am the son of grand sensei Velskud, and he is the head of of Triven's martial art's institute and all its aspiring rangers. So all l did was seek your file and and find out the room you were given and date for resumption, and here l am easy peasy" he smiled proudly, showing his perfect white teeth which really went well with his white hair, and added flash to his black eyes.

Lilith looked at him with admiration. He was very good looking and so we’re his features. He had a darker skin shade than Lilith’s which was caramel. He dark skin and black eyes went really well but then the twist came with his hair which was oddly white but that did not make him any less good looking, he still looked very handsome and could make any lady ogle him.

"Oh OK" she cut off her wild thoughts and return his smile. "Actually, I am glad you're here. There is something l need your help for"

"Anything for you, just name it and l will see with my best that it is done”. He said sincerely.

Lilith hesitated a bit before replying. She looked to where Andreas stood not up to two paces from them, with his eyes giving Nexine the death stare. But she was not sure why so she just ignored him and continued her talk, hoping he wouldn't try anything rash for no reason.

"I want to make a few adjustments in my room" she said rolling her eyes around. "You know... I just want to make it feel like me, l just want to add a bit of... "

"Purple?" He helped her out, concluding that she was maybe in war with her words.

"Yes purple!" She affirmed swiftly with a smile on her face. She was just so happy that he understood her unlike Andreas. She thought, eyeing him in such a way that he would understand what was in her mind. However, she didn't care. He should deal with himself, they were definitely not cool.

She brushed his thoughts off her mind and turned to Nexine. "I need to paint my room with purple, maybe not all of it but at least my bed side, my wardrobe and my restroom too. Seeing purple all around me makes me feel alive. Is there any way l can have that done?" She gave him the best puppy eyes, hoping there was something he could do for her.

"I will do my best Lilith, but that would be tomorrow after the party tonight" he stood up to leave.

Party? "What party?" She furrowed.

"Well, we are celebrating our victory over Gorgor today. Don't tell me you forget everything after your years in the kids ranger institute?" He turned serious face at her.

Oh no! The one day she never appreciates because of Andreas was today! She looked towards him immediately but found out he was gone. Of course he couldn't bear to stand and hear that the disappearance of his world was a thing of celebration to some other people.

"Oh that" she smiled sadly, "l almost forgot. But why are we throwing a party, we normally just sang our anthem and heard a speech from your father the grand sensei".

"Oh come on Lilith" Nexine sounded a bit disappointed. "We are fourteen now and teens too. No one wants that boring stuff anymore and neither should you. Just come for tonight's party at the grand hall and be sure to enjoy yourself" and with that, he turned to leave but stopped abruptly as if he remembered something.

"And oh least l forget, make sure to look gorgeous because am considering making you my date for tonight" he came closer and pecked her left cheek before finally leaving her ice frozen in the room. She definitely didn't see the peck coming but it did come and there was nothing she could do about it. Yes she liked Nexine but she also believed he went to far by pecking her. The only one who had the right to do so was her mom and no one else.

She just let out a loud fustrating sigh before falling to her bed like a cut tree. Then the thought of where Andreas could be slowly crept to mind. She sat up immediately and called him, focusing on her mind as he had thought her to call him whenever she needed him. "Andreas" she called slowly, waiting for him to show up.

"I never thought you would need me so soon after eying me before Nexine". He spoke from where he sat on the only chair in the room.

"Please don’t make a big deal out of it Andreas. You sure know he didn't see it".

"True, but you did eye me" he seemed angry about it obviously.

"Walk it off Andreas that's not why l called you back" she sluggishly went to where he sat and stood before him with a concerned look on her face.

"Why then" he raised his face to her.

"Are you ok? l mean are you sad about the party. You know its in honor of the defeat of your world" she spoke with care to him as she stroked his hair.

"I am fine Lilith" he looked into her eyes and forced a smiled on his face. "That has been going on for a very long time now, so I am over it already"

"Are sure?" she asked again "you no l can not go to the party and stay here with you if you like?"

"No Lilith " he held her hands and stood up, still looking into her eyes. "Go, have fun. I can't deprive you of that. Besides, its for the whole institute and you would be defaulting if you don't attend. So you must go".

"You are the best Andreas" she hugged him.

"You too Lilith".

Suddenly, she pulled away from the hug as if she remembered something. "Nexine pecked me" she blurted with her eyes closed, not knowing what Andreas would say but she did expect the worst.

"What?" He fumed "are you being serious? Why would he do that?"

"I don't know Andreas, he just did" she answer with tears rolling down her cheeks. It was not because she was pecked but because he was mad at her and she was always sad whenever he was. Even though that was like once in a blue moon. She was actually the one always getting angry.

"Its ok Lilith" he hugged her, creasing her back in an up and down motion. "Enough of your tears now, sorry l got mad". Oh that over pampered boy, who does he think he is, trying to take advantage of his Lilith!

His Lilith?

His?!

Was she his?

There was really no time to give this to this particular thought so he just brushed it off.

He simply concluded on handling Nexine later, but first he had to meet his father because it was time already for their assemble.

"Ehmm Lilith" he cut the hug and looked at her face. "You should start getting ready now for the party. Go there and stay calm ok. Make sure to stay away from that Nexine, l don't trust his acts anymore" he frowned.

"Ok" she nodded, wiping her tears. "Are you not staying here" she asked him, she must have probably sensed his haste.

"Yes Lilith l have to do something now. We will talk later in the morning ok?"

"Sure" she smiled at him.

"Good girl. Take good care of yourself" he said finally before vanishing into thin air.

Lilith was a bit bothered with what he had to do and made up her mind to ask him tomorrow morning when he shall return. Or maybe when she would get to see him again, because she was sure she would be totally exhausted after this whole party stuff.

"Today is just not in my favor"...
