"Hmmm something is not just right here" Lilith paced in her room with her hand creasing her chin. She just arrived at Nerwin and was trying to settle in before it gets to dinner time that they would be called to the dinning hall for their meal.
She was done unpacking and she was sure she put everything in its right spot but she still wasn't satisfied with the look of the room. Although it wasn't big because it was just one of the institute's single room but she was sure that wasn't the problem because she found it just right and comfortable. The bed was cosy and the view from her window was the training ground, which was totally awesome because she would always stay training conscious. 'Then what was the problem?' She asked herself, with her eyes darting round the room like she would spot it with one roll, but she didn't. "Andreas l feel something is not right, but l don't know what it is" she turned to Andreas who just lay comfortably on her bed with crossed legs, not caring to know what she said as he seemed lost in his own thoughts. "Andreas!" She called again, a bit louder this time jolting him from his thoughts. "Hmm yes Lilith" she finally got his attention. "You were saying?" "What were you thinking about" she asked him with a serious face and her hands on her waist. "You were so lost". "Oh sorry about that" he quickly apologized. "I was just so engrossed with admiring the fact that this room is not stuffed with your obviously unbearable obsession with purple". On the contrary, that was far from what he was thinking about. He was actually thinking of reasonable stats he would present to his father when next he meets him which was today, the constellation day. It was the same day they became lost, many years ago by the hands of Triven rangers. Ever since then, they had been lost somewhere in the universe that even their devices and satlites couldn't detect, to help them find their way out. The existence of some of the most powerful breed of their species on Omania now was not reality, but their illusionary powers were at work to help them exist in the planet but visible to no one. He was actually surprised that Lilith was able to see him that day he finally decided to come out open to her. He had being lurking in the dark of her shadow for a very long time since she was born, just because he felt she was going to be the key to him freeing his world. From the instant she let out her first cry, he decided to be with her. However, that would not have been feasible if he had not taken it on himself to protect her mother from his father after he fufilled his aim of killing Phil her husband just because he believed that with his great potential lost, that would be a big loss for Triven and sweet revenge for him. Actually, he was right. Phil was indeed a strong and powerful ranger and he weilded four superpowers which was very rare for a ranger. They were Telekinesis, Super strength, field force and most feared of all, chaos magic. So killing him was a big loss to Triven and it was not certain that there would ever be anyone like him, not even a slightest chance. Nevertheless, he was not happy with Phil's death, but what could he say, king Radia will always be king Radia. He honestly had no reason to bother himself unnecessarily about the death of an enemy of his world, but he was with Lilith now for a greater course. Phil held great potentials and he was sure it would be same with Lilith or even more. She might be the one he has spent long years searching for, the one that can save his world, save his people. The one that could revive their core and bring back their light. Yes! She could be the one and he was not letting her off him because eventually if she turns out to be the one, then that would mean that he could finally return home proudly and earn his father’s love and the love of his people in it’s abundance. King Radia, after the fall of Gorgor sent him away on the mission to find the one with the power of light and bring him to Gorgor so as to resurrect their world. However, every year since then, on the anniversary of their defeat, he was to report his progress on this mission and also assure his competence. Now this was why he had been lost in thoughts. He had no idea of what to report this year. Every single time this time of the year draws near, he was very sure his people and his father most especially had high hopes and expectations on hearing from him and he always lets them down. He just wished things would turn out differently this year. He exhaled deeply. "It is just right and l don't see the anything wrong with it". Yes purple! That was just what the room needed. She wasn't comfortable because her favorite color had no impact on the room except for her things and she. She really had to give it a touch of purple if she wished to stay here. Yes, she will do just that but wait, did he just her love for purple unbearable! No she can't take that. "My love for purple is not unbearable, its unique. I was born with it. You can tell from my eyes and hair. I love purple and l am going to make everything about me feel and be the same, and if you think its unbearable to you then l would advise you get yourself a new room" she crossed her arms and backed him. "Oh Lilith" he stood from the bed and walked to her. "I don't mean that you loving just purple is wrong, l only think its time you tried other colors, like blue, red, indigo, orange, and yellow. Let's just stop at the prominent colors in Triven" he smiled at her. "Well that's your problem Andreas. I love purple and that's it. If you think l... "She was still speaking a bit angrily at him before she was interrupted by a knock on the door. Time froze for the two of them as they cut their argument and just wondered who knocked on the door and why the person was there. *knock knock* It came again, louder than the former. "Who is there?" She called with all her attention on the door, but there was no reply. "Well whoever you are, l think you are in the wrong room!". She said again, after getting snubbed. But that didn't stop the knock, as it persisted and the one at it had no intentions of stopping. She exchanged glances with Andreas before approaching door closely in her best defense pose in case if the person at the other side tries to launch an attack. She would have worried about weak over pampered prince Andreas, but luckily for them he couldn't be seen by anyone except her. She got to the door and opened it slowly, stepping back and been ready for anything and she indeed got some thing. A hug!She got a hug! By who? She froze for some seconds before drawing away from the hug to get a better sight of the person who hug her. "Nexine!" She called out with joy. "H... how come you are here?""Oh come on Lilith are you not happy to see me?" Nexine asked as he made his way to her bed to sit comfortably on it. "But l am" she hurried to say as she closed her door and went to sit beside him. "I am, l just wonder how you got to know my room because it has not been long l arrived". "I can't believe you just asked me that Lilith" Nexine looked at her displeased. "I am the son of grand sensei Velskud, and he is the head of of Triven's martial art's institute and all its aspiring rangers. So all l did was seek your file and and find out the room you were given and date for resumption, and here l am easy peasy" he smiled proudly, showing his perfect white teeth which really went well with his white hair, and added flash to his black eyes. Lilith looked at him with admiration. He was
"The most crime of a prince is being late to a noble counsel" king Radia raged on sighting Andreas walk through the door. "Why are you just arriving?" "I am so sorry father" he bowed to him in apology. "I take the blame for my actions and will willfully accept any punishment you wish that l suffer". "You know Andreas l have just realized that you care nothing about saving our world from this abyss, but only focus your mind and will on the useless people of Triven! You hardly spend time here with your people, nor do you search for ways with our star specialists to spot our location on the galaxy and set us free. Infact, it irritates you to help build our cosmic lumens in the reviving of our dead core. What kind of a prince are you?!" "I deeply repent of my actions father and l shall surely put my enthusiasm on bringing our world out of this void space". "Your apology changes nothing Andreas" Radia thundered again, now rising from his seat. His anger made him comb his pink mou
"You should not have sent him out like that your grace” lord Gerrant let out a sigh as he spoke in disapproval of what the king did. "He is still the prince of our world and his dignity must always be respected". "Oh please, spare us the sermon lord Gerrant" lord Varnaak definitely did not want to hear any of his words of empathy. "You saw what the prince did, he failed terribly in an ordinary task that was handed to him long years ago. I agree with the king that prince Andreas must not return to Gorgor again until he has found the mutant with the illumination ability". "But what if the prince was right. He is very powerful and strong enough to find the illuminator. His fighting skills are worth it and the range of his powers are outstanding. I sternly support prince Andreas that the mutant may not be from Triven, but from other planets in Omania. Let's be certain of our words, so as not to make rash decisions". Lord Gerrant was for sure not accepting defeat from Lord Varnaak espec
"What do l do?" She asked herself as she rubbed her face. "What have you done Lilith? You are a murderer"."No no no Nex" Lilith cried. "It was not intentionally, l didn't mean to do any of this. Please Nex you have to believe me. It is not my fault". "Oh really Lilith but you just murdered Lrya in cold blood. How could you even be capable of such. I might be your friend, but l won't conceal evil. I am reporting this straight to sensei Moran". He said with a serious face as he walked out on her. "I am so sorry Lilith". "No Nex please. Not displine sensei Moran. Please Nex don't do this to me. I might get expelled or even worst, serve a nation wide punishment. Please Nex". Lilith fell to the floor as she cried her eyes out to Nex but all her pleas fell on deaf ears as he just left her there all alone. "Oh no, no no!" She screamed into her palm out of fustration. Why was all this happening to her, why did she make the mistake of hitting Lyra. She placed her forehead on the ground i
"Ranger aspirants of Triven, gather around". It was morning and all the aspirants of the institute gathered outside to be assigned to their masters and also given their level up bracelets and start their journey to fully becoming rangers of Triven. Each sensei was assigned to 18 aspirants to train, and help them get to the next level. And by the end of every session, the best aspirants under each sensei would compete against each other for the ultimate prize of the year; grand aspirant. It was also accompanied with a huge level up, as the winner can skip two levels which is within one year, at most if he wishes to from the eight levels they have to pass through in the institute. Lilith silently prayed within her that she would get a good sensei. Someone she could understand and have a connection with. And she also wished she will not be assigned to the same sensei with Nex. She really didn't want to see his face anymore, after what happened last night. Plus in the kid rangers
"Punches! Blocks! Kicks!" Sensei Helia commanded his students as they obeyed the command accurately. They have been practicing those basic moves for two hours now and they all wondered in their minds why the sensei was making them practice the basic moves they already have at their finger tips for such a long time. "Concerntrate! Focus on the energy that revolves around you. Harden your fists! Hold your defenses, straighten and harden your kicks!" The commands kept coming from the sensei as he sat on a wooden chair he got from the cottage, hitting his cane on the ground in a definite rhythm. They continued practicing the moves till the alarm for lunch time sounded loud in the whole institute. They all were just so exhausted and didn't wait for their master to dismiss them but just left to pick their things and leave on their own. "Meditation class everyone is two hours before dinner. Do well to fill your stomachs now for it won't be nice to hear the roars of the monsters in y
Lord Varnaak was given till the next dusk of Triven to find out what the prince Andreas was hiding by king Radia. He thought of a perfect strategy to carry out the king's orders of following the prince after he had assigned him to do so. He knew very well he couldn't be seen by the people of Triven but he was sure the prince was going to sense him, one way or the other and for sure see him. So he had to do something exceptional like use one of his rare abilities, making illusions! Yes that was his strength and he was very sure it would be of great help to him now. But to be able to pull that off, he had to hatch a very effective plan so that he can outsmart the prince. He thought following him around, lurking around his own dark self so that he won't seem it strange that he saw him or sensed him wherever he went. He already knew that the prince spends his imaginary times in Omania at Triven and he was certain he mostly stayed in the ranger institute at their capital, Nerwin.
But he really hoped the prince will fall for it, and he did, leading to his now state. He had come back later after he was sure the prince had gone to Babu to carry out his father's orders as he had made him believe. He moved to the dorms immediately, searching all the rooms there for anything that could be likened to prince Andreas. He had just finished his search in the first and second dorms in his illusion as the prince. He was about to move to the third before he sensed the prince's presence there in Nerwin. 'He did even stay as long as he thought or was he the one who lost track of time?. He looked at the sun and realized it was already past mid day for Triven. Dammit* he must have spent so much time searching the other dorms. Immediately, he took the form of one of the flags there just to fool him, even though he knew he was the only one who could see him and would definitely know that something was off with the environment. But that was just to pass. As the flag, he staye
"Florate?” Rain gasped, what could have happened to him?’ She asked within her, expecting the worse. “Yes Rain" she nodded, wiping her tear. "Florate is in trouble and needs your help out of it". Rain looked alarmed, the thought Florate being in danger got her scared and even though she was mad at him right now she would never wish that any danger befalls him. "What kind of danger" she asked immediately. "What happened?". "It was yesterday, after your combat with Linthorn and injuries you sustained, he just could not wait till the end of our match before coming to see you. He very much wanted to be by your side that even five minutes was just too long so he had to cut the time short" Lilith tried to explain as she struggled to control her soft sobs. "What do you mean by ""cut the time short""?" she asked as her ears itched so bad to hear what Lilith had to say right now but the tears flowing down Lilith cheeks and her silent sobs won't let her speak. "Talk to me Lilith! What di
"Rain?"Nexine called softly as she opened her eyes slowly. "How are you feeling?" he asked her with a lot of care rested in his voice."Florate?" she called softly still blinking her eyes to adjust to the bright light. Rain was still gaining her consciousness and still did not recognize the voice fully but even though, her asking of Florate got Nex angry, and somewhat sad but he decided to keep his cool and still remain sweet to her." No Rain. It is me Nexine" he brought his face closer to her and looked into her ocean blue eyes as they fluttered open and close like the wings of a butterfly that just left the cocoon. "Nexine?" She asked, seeming a bit confused but in a few seconds, her brain was able to boot properly and process her thoughts adequately and then she now knew very well that the voice belonged to Nexina and remembered why it wasn't Florate who she woke up to meet."Yes it is me" he focused his sight still on her eyes as she now left them open, receiving the warmth h
The unbearable pain Lilith felt all over body woke her up was very crushing and debilitating. She opened her eyes wide but could see nothing but darkness that she now began to wonder if there still closed or had she gone blind? She could not feel most parts of her body anymore, especially her feet and palm as they were tied together behind her. She struggled to set herself free but just couldn't, the knots were too strong and she couldn't break free. She took a deep breath before trying to atleast sit up but that was not an option as she could not achieve that judging from the way the knots were tied round her wrists. "Ugh!" she grunted, trying to slip her hands through the knots but it was not working at all.Suddenly, the room was illuminated by a white bright light. She closed her eyes immediately as its bright ray and blink several times to adjust to it which took some time, about few seconds. She looked around her immediately to discern her environment, to find out that there w
"Oh my boy. My sweet boy. What is wrong?" "Nanny... Rain..." he sniffed. "What happened?" she asked again. "I have lost Rain ". "Enough now, stop crying Florate. Pull yourself together and tell me what really happened". She cleaned his face with her palm, trying to calm him down. "Rain saw Lilith and I together, and misunderstood things. She thought we were betraying her" he spoke sadly. "Oh dear. Now that's very serious. But enough of the tears already" she wiped his face the more with her palm, drying his tears like a true mother would. "She must think I never loved her now and I do not even know what to say to convince her otherwise". "This is all my fault" Lilith suddenly said, drawing the attention to herself. "I never should have dragged you into my personal problems Florate" tears began to flow down her cheeks. "No" he objected sternly, looking at her. "No Lilith. Don't do this to yourself. None of this was your fault Rain just got too emotional and misundersto
"I am very sure I was clear with my words when I ordered that you never come back here except you are here with the light illuminator". King Radia's voice thundered within his throne room at the sight of his son, prince Andreas. "Where is he? Have you brought him with you? If your answer is no, then leave this place at once before I force you to". He looked at him with irritation written all over his face. He hated him so much now especially after he threatened to kill him if he did not spare a common Trivenian. He meant nothing to him now if he wasn't with the light illuminator. Bringing him to him would make him consider accepting him back as his son. "Forgive me father, for I have failed you in so many ways than I can not count" he fell on his knees before him immediately. "I have come to plead for your forgiveness father. I have really been a disappointment to you, your grace". Andreas knew there was no reason to remain far from home since he has decided to let Lilith go, notw
"Rain?!" Florate looked very shocked. He had a lot of questions in his head right but all that didn't matter now, he only rushed to lift her from the floor."Don't you dare touch me you scoundrel!" she yelled at him with so much pain in her voice."Oh my, Rain!" Lilith came out of the room with a sad look on her face as she too went close to help her up."You too backstabber!" Rain cursed Lilith too. "Don't you dare lay your filthy hands on me!" she kept yelling and crying and it drew the attention of people around but there were no near nurses to come to her aid."What is going on Rain?" Florate looked really confused. "Why are you acting this way? Let me help you baby" he came to help her again but she rolled away from his reach, crying in agony of the pain that came with each turn she made on the floor. "You are hurting yourself the more Rain" Lilith drew closer to her but she flinched back. "What exactly is the problem? Why are you flinching from us. It is us Rain your boyfriend
Florate was honestly out of words. He did not know what else to say to Lilith right now, he did not know the right words to use or the correct things to say to her to make her feel better so he just chose to leave her to her self for now. He just thought it would be best if she called herself down on her own for start, then later he will come around to be with her and probably, Rain would come with him as well. So, he needed an excuse to leave her right now and he could not think of any other reasonable excuse than Rain. “Thank you so much Florate" she pecked his cheeks "I am really happy to have someone like you". She tried so had to smile but her heart was too heavy and her face had soaked so much tears that her cheeks found it difficult to curve into a smile. Florate however noticed this and felt really pained. He really wished he could do more to help but unfortunately, he could not. “It is fine Lilith” he started calmly. “It is okay. We love each other and look out for each o
"He has been my imaginary friend since I was five, prince Andreas". "Prince Andreas?" he furrowed. "Who is that? And why do have an imaginary friend? Are you not too old for that?” He seemed amused. “I am serious Florate” Lilith frowned. “Ok ok” he held back his laughter and comported himself, not wanting to get her annoyed as he decided to keep paying attention to her. “Andreas has been with me since I was five and I have grown to love him. I have grown to not know how to leave without him but now he has left me Florate he said we can’t be together” she broke into tears. “Calm down Lilith” Florate rubbed her arm gently, trying to calm her down. “I understand how you feel” “No you do not” she cried more. “I do, honestly I do but why did you not inform Rain and I about this friend, this Andreas how did you even meet him?" "I am sorry I kept him from you both” she sniffed, “I just could not let you guys know because he could only be seen by me, with the help of my
Back in her room, Rain had flashes of what happened between she and Florate and it made her blush hard. She buried her face into her pillow and let out a loud squeak, looking obviously happy and flustered at the same time. However, her expression changed when she remembered that Lilith had not come to visit her. Although she had earlier asked Florate to tell her that she was becoming worried over her nonchalance about her state of health but she really hoped she had a very good reason and was not ignoring her intentionally due to lack of concern or anything of that sort at all.‘Or was she mad at her for not quitting the match on time like Florate was?’ She thought of possible reasons why Lilith would neglect her at this very sensitive point in time but she did not seem to come up with any.“Humph” she breathed. She finally decided to let the thought go, settling on getting the answer from Lilith herself and she hoped within her that it would be a very valid reason. She just had to
