I was sleeping peacefully until my brother's voice rang out.

/Fuck Hester, wake up! I have to go to the alpha mansion early, alpha is out and I have important things to attend to!/ He said slamming my bedroom door loudly.

I heard his shouting and I let out an annoyed grunt as I put my head into my pillow. The reality was that my brother, Lucas, was 5 years older, and had been promoted to Gamma in our White Centurion Pack, so now he had a lot more responsibility than before. However, his main entertainment was to bother me since I had a boyfriend.

/Fuck! If you don't open that damn door, I'll have to go in there and get you out myself!!/ He said with a threatening tone.

As soon as I heard those words I opened my eyes quickly and jumped out of bed to open the door. /God, you are so annoying/ I said.

In fact, I loved the idea of Lucas being Gamma of the pack, but he was always busy, and on alert. Just two days ago he asked me to break up with Freddy, my boyfriend, but I ignored him and continued with him. 

In fact, my boyfriend Freddy was my weakness. He had been the most amazing guy I had ever met in my life, and he loved me as much as I loved him. Freddy was the brother of the pack's alpha, but he still had less responsibility.

Our pack was huge and pretty organised, in fact, we had rules that other packs didn't have. But the most dazzling rule was the alpha-only rule. An alpha could not refuse his destined mate, otherwise his destined mate would die of pain on that day.

Faced with that law many were happy not to be alphas, especially Freddy, who was anxious that the moon goddess would finally show us the mate bond we could have.

On the other hand, Freddy's older brother, Alpha Bennet, was completely different from his brother. He was tall, with a dangerous and cold temperament. His every move was meticulous and everyone was afraid of him.

In addition, Bennet had a presence that could subdue anyone who came near him. Even though he wasn't the most powerful alpha, he was a fucking business tycoon, and had even led our pack to number one on the werewolf list. I had only seen him once, when Lucas was training. However, I never saw anything usual, maybe everyone was amazed by how huge he was. 

Not wanting to think anymore, I just ran to the bathroom and took a huge shower. I used to wear flowery dresses that showed off my figure, plus, they were Freddy's favourite.

After I got dressed I grabbed my bag and ran out to the living room to say goodbye to mum. After that, Lucas and I left the house and went to his fancy car. He had always loved fast cars, but all I could see was his ugly, dull black car.

After a few minutes Lucas parked the car at my high school and dropped me off to go to the alpha mansion.

My high school was the best, almost all the kids in the pack went there. Also, only the A's tended to get personalised training, so I tried harder every day.

That afternoon, classes ended earlier than usual, however, I had gone the whole day without seeing my best friend or my boyfriend Freddy.

I felt a slight hint of worry and took out my phone to dial him.

/Hello?/ I heard her voice.

/Honey, where are you?/ I asked as soon as I heard his voice.

/Princess, I told you, I have a lot of things to do in the alpha amnsion. My brother is coming today. And besides, I have to organize a couple of papers. Today I will finally be appointed as the alpha's right hand manl/ He said.

/Oh yes, I heard that Alpha Bennett was bringing his fiancée to crown her luna of the pack. Maybe I can come and help you.../ I said calmly.

/For a moment Freddy didn't answer me until I finally heard his breathing. "That won't be necessary. As the alpha's future right hand man, I have to deal with this kind of work on my own" Freddy said.

/All right baby, I love you/ I said.

/I love you too/ He hinted before hanging up the call.

When he hung up I sighed deeply. In fact, his voice made me feel so good, but I knew he had business to attend to.

At that I sat down on one of the benches outside and checked my phone. However, at that moment an idea flashed in my mind. Freddy had spent the day busy, and I had finished my classes earlier.

/Maybe I should surprise him at the alpha mansion!/ I said to myself.

I was determined that that would be an excellent idea, besides, it wouldn't take up too much of his time, I'd just see him and help him with his business.

With that in mind, I ran out of the school and jumped into a taxi. Fortunately everything was close by so it didn't take me 20 minutes to get to the alpha mansion.

As soon as I entered the mansion, a heady aroma filled my nostrils. They seemed to have decorated every corner of the mansion with red and white roses. Everything was utterly beautiful.

The great hall had been prepared for the alpha's big engagement party, so I couldn't help but smile in hope that someday Freddy and I would be in that place, about to be married.

At that thought I shook my head and began to search for Freddy with my eyes. However, I could find no trace of him anywhere.

Thoughtfully I turned to one of the maids and interrupted her /Oh, sorry to disturb you, but can you tell me where Freddy is?/ I asked with a sweet smile.

She looked at me and smiled /Young Freddy is in his room/ She said.

I nodded to the girl and thanked her for her help. At that, I walked towards the stairs and up the hallway to my boyfriend's room. However, as I was about to open the door to his room a couple of noises were heard from inside the room.

I opened my eyes in suspicion and went to the door to hear better.

/Oh baby, that was delicious! / I suddenly heard a long moan of pleasure.

My eyes widened like two saucers at the thought of what was going on in there. But what the hell was Freddy doing in his room?

Without hesitation I grabbed the knob on the door and turned it silently. However, when my eyes looked into the room, my heart almost burst.

In front of me was my best friend, Delilah, who was lying on Freddy's bed with nothing but a watch in her hand.

/Dalila? What is she doing here?/ I asked myself.
