Chapter 40 ~ What are we?~

Echo’s POV:

“Are you alright dear?” I heard the stressed woman voice saying that to me. As I got up I found myself on the hospital bed.

“Hmm…,” I nodded my head as I leaned back to rest my head on the bed rest. While I was resting myself on the bed rest, I saw the little Dimitri peeking from the door some metres away. He looked so pitiful.

I gave him a warm smile as I gazed at him and reached out my hands to get a warm hug from him. He sauntered towards me with his quick steps.

I embraced him quick on my arms. His embraces felt warm on my chest as he clutched my body like I was going to leave him once I leave him behind.
