Chapter 11

Lexi's pov

Glancing down at my shorts and tee I looked at Sloan in worry.

“Shift into your wolf if you get cold. Nolan told me you were gifted with the moonless shift like several others in this pack,” he said with urgency.

Nodding, I stepped into the chilly room and watched while he went to the locking mechanism.

“Hide behind the shelves where the light is low,” he grinned and gave me a thumbs-up.

Going behind the farthest shelf stacked with wine bottles I glanced back to see that he had already gone up the stairs to open the door.

Rubbing my arms I narrowed my eyes to see him return with both Nathan and Nolan.

I gritted my teeth seeing the two wine glasses on the table. Furrowing my brow when Nolan slid one covertly around his arm that he propped on the tabletop.

“He knows that I was with Sloan. I mean he is rubbing his nose and glancing around the room,” I muttered softly to my wolf.

Nathan’s shouting could be heard through the tempered glass enclosure and I felt sorry for Sloan b
