Ari's awkward apology

I breathed a sigh of relieve when I found no one in any of the hallways leading to the room I was currently staying in, and once I got to the last hallway, there was someone leaning on the wall, waiting for me.

He was a little familiar as I recall seeing him behind Asher at the training grounds, my face heated up, he was perhaps someone who had laughed at me earlier in the day. I halted contemplating if I should go there or not and when I finally decided to walk away, he saw me.

I could pretend I didn’t see him and walk away but he was already heading towards me with a box. I didn’t know his rank but his aura was soothing, he handed the box and left immediately without saying a word.

He probably didn’t want to waste his breath on a girl who couldn’t shift. Upon getting to my room, the window I had found enticing in the morning came into view and it was even more enticing and so was the urge to disappear.
