The Moon Shadow pack was everything the Silver pack wasn't. Here, amidst the towering pines, a sense of peace pervaded. No tense greetings, no sneering glances, just a quiet acceptance that felt impossibly foreign.

Yet, despite the change in scenery, a part of me remained firmly rooted in fear. The memory of bitter warriors and icy stares still lingered, making it hard to fully relax. I accepted their food, their clothes, their shelter – all offered with an unusual gentleness.
