Lila's POV

The days dragged on after the visit to the Alpha's room. It felt almost as if Luna Victoria had blacklisted me. Every question I asked was met with a wall.

And such a denial set into motion by the Luna herself.

"The wolf less omega is not allowed anywhere near the Alpha’s room AND not even to the infirmary.."

Healers nodded throughout it. They were looking so pleased to finally get me out of the way. I bet they ran over to complain to Victoria and made tales about how much I annoyed them. Not a thing. Not then. But I was not going to back down. Something is very fishy, and it will be revealed soon.

That same night, Adrian came to my room. He did not even knock before he stepped inside.

“So, she banned you, huh?” he said, leaning closer in a low voice.

“Yeah, I know.” I mumbled.

“Still wanting to go back, though. Isnt that right, Lila?” He asked, a playful smile on his face

I stared at him straight in the eyes. “I have to.”
