Chapter Thirty-Six
During breakfast, everyone ate quietly as the awkwardness between Kedade, John and Saga increased. Lance noticed this and tried to lighten up everyone’s moods.
“Kedade, Saga. You two will be placed under witness protection. Some police officers will come here as soon as we leave. They will be your bodyguards until the operation is over.” he said.
“Yes, brother.” Kedade said and chortled.
“Thank you, Agent Lance.” Saga chipped in.
“Lance is fine.” Lance said and patted Saga’s back.
“Be rest assured that we will catch the people that subjected you to this pain, Kedade.” John added. Saga glared hard making Lance chortle.
