Hearing the beat of a weakening thumping sound, realising that it was my own heartbeat that was slowly fading away.

Chris' PoV "Aaahhh....mmmmm" I groaned as I kept turning in my king size bed that felt so comfortable that I don't even want to open my eyes however I knew it was about time for me to start morning training since the shimmering bright light hit my face making me quite uncomfortable. And in a matter of fact, I was never a morning person, I much prefer to have my room quite dark but if I do that, I may just lock myself in my room the whole day and sleep but that is something I would not like since I'll become super lazy. Chris' PoV As we exited the dark room, we made our way through a long corridor. The beta positioned at the front whilst the two guards positioned close behind me on either side making a wonderful triangular shape with me in the middle. Overall, I was basically locked in with no escape or that is what they thought. As we kept on walking, around 5 minutes later, a banging sound was heard catching everyone's attention causing us to a halt. As everyone gazed their attention towards the direction the sound was coming from, they must have mind linked each other until I felt the presence of the beta walking away whilst the two guards kept their position on either side of me before asking me to walk on.
