Chapter 43 - The King

Chris' PoV

It has been a week since I have left Leon and my pack, after briefing them of what is happening that day, during the night I set off leaving a note saying I've went to carry out my mission as planned. Well, there was of course other ways to tell them I was leaving but with Leon and my pack being overprotective, they would've found a way to come with me, but I didn't want to risk them getting captured.

I knew the risk that I would be captured but I also knew that I needed Intel of how many men the King has and what regime they go on so we could find a way to break through their defences with less casualties.

And for the past week that I've been here, it seems majority of the knights all have the ice power, but it isn't as strong, it would only knock an ordinary wolf unconscious but not enough to kill them.
