My expression was firm as I knew my little act couldn't fool all the Alphas. Maybe Alpha Severin could be fooled, though. Alpha Severin's eyes shifted from the necklace to Selene, and he frowned. "Why is the necklace in your box? Didn't you lose it?" He asked with confusion in his tone. My lips twitched. As expected, he was really fooled. This was good, too. It relieved me of more schemes and facilitated faster results. Selene scrambled up from the bed. Her eyes were fixed on the necklace, and she seemed to be unable to believe her eyes. "I didn't keep it there." She mumbled. "Then how was it there?" Alpha Severin asked. King Jared and Alpha Raviel were at the side, watching
