SELENA

"I'm sorry, Selena."

Selene whispered.

It was the umpteenth time already.

She'd said it several times before we entered our room, and she had said it again when she closed the door behind her.

But I ignored her.

I wouldn't waste my word on her. Honestly, I didn't want to talk to her at all.

Saying anything to her at this moment would only escalate things or estrange us even more. I didn't want that.

So, I decided to keep quiet. No matter how much she apologized, I wouldn't answer her until I was calm enough to accept her apology.

I removed my dress and walked into the bathroom.
