"What's this place, Jaxon?" I ask immediately he pulls up near an abandoned building. "Is this where you were bringing me to talk?" I ask in confusion.

"Shut up and climb out of the car!" He orders but I hesitate, contemplating on what to do. Jaxon notices my hesitation and hoots, drawing the attention of the occupants who come rushing out of the house, towards the car. Before I know it, the car door is pulled open and I'm roughly dragged out of the car by three rough looking men. These must be rogues.

I sense danger, suddenly screaming my lungs out while throwing my legs carelessly as a form of defence and resistance but before I know it, I'm already inside the house and roughly thrown onto the dusty floor. This house is indeed abandoned because I can't see any furniture or proof of anyone living in here. What's really happening?

"Let go of me!" I shout. "If you hurt me, you'll have my mate to contend with!" I threaten.

"Shut the fuck up, bitch!" One of the guys says after giving me a resounding slap on my cheek. I suddenly see stars and the earth is moving in circles. I let out a deafening scream, warning him not to lay his dirty hands on me again but he can't hear any of my cries. He raises his hand yet again to slap me but Jaxon holds it mid air. I heave a heavy sigh of relief, thanking him inwardly.

"No need to go rough, Rambo!" He says to the guy and he composes himself. "And you," Jaxon turns to me, "Co-operate, else you'll be badly hurt by my boys here!" He wants and I frown, my eyes staring at him hard.

"Take me back home!" I command but he just shakes his head. "Your father will kill you when he finds out what you've done!" I threaten. It's already dawn and I can see the sun rising from the East. I pray hard that the Alpha discovers that I'm not around as soon as possible. I can't hold myself together for long, else these bastards will take away my life due to my stubbornness!

"Sit still if you don't want my men to harm you!" Jaxon says as he leans on the wall beside me. Two more guys join us as the rest stand and give me their hard stares. They're carrying three plastic chairs and I'm forced to sit on one while Jaxon takes one, then one of the guys who seems to be their leader takes the last seat then sits right in front of me. I assume he's their leader. He leans closer to me but I swerve to the side, avoiding his stale breath. He reeks of alcohol, cigarettes and other stuff. He smells so disgusting such that I almost throw up!

"She is so beautiful!" He exclaims as he licks on his lips as the pervert that he is. "Can I have a taste of her pink lips?" He asks, obviously showing his lust for me. His question and actions spite me even more, making me to spit at his dirty and round face.

Surprisingly, he wipes my saliva from his face and licks at his fingers, something that pissed me off completely.

"It's as if you've known that I feast on saliva." He says while giggling like a maniac. "Spit at me again, or better still kiss me and pour all your saliva in my mouth, I won't mind!" He adds, letting out a devilish laughter.

"What?" I exclaim then turn to Jaxon. "Jaxon please tell me why I am here and stop wasting my time!" I say to the Alpha's son who just giggles.

"Rambo and his boys here will tell you why you're here." He states, not minding my tantrums. "If you cooperate, they'll let you go but if you proof to be hard-headed, I'll let them have their way with you just the way they want to!" He threatens.

"But-"

"Well, let's do this and get done with it!" The Rogue being referred to as Rambo says to me, cutting me short while leaning even closer to me. I lean to the side, avoiding him as usual.

"Call Alpha Waylon and let's get done with this once and for all!" He commands one of his boys who has a phone ready in hand. He hands the phone over to Jaxon who dials his father's number and then hands it over to that rogue. "Put him on video call!" He adds. "And you," he's pointing at another rogue, "record everything so that our boss here can use it as proof." He orders and the other rogue draws his phone from his pocket ready to record.

I panic instantly.

I don't know what these rogues, as well as Jaxon are up to.

My heart is beating hard against my chest and I'm already out of options.

What am I supposed to do in this situation yet I don't know what they're up to?

"Adeline, right?" Rambo says, already putting on a hard and a serious face. I don't even respond. He can suit himself for all I care! "I'll ask my question either way, whether you talk or keep mum. Do you have a mate?" He asks as if it is the most obvious question on earth.

I just nod in response, hoping this will be as easy as ABC.

"Is he here?" He asks as if he doesn't know that he's not here.

"No!" I state firmly.

"Where is he?"

"In the Pack House."

"What is his name?"

"Alpha Waylon Hunter, the Alpha of the West Ring Pack. He is my second chance mate after my supposed mate rejected me!" I say boldly.

"Do you think that old man will live long enough to make you happy, just as Jaxon can?" Rambo asks.

"I didn't choose him, the moon goddess chose him for me after Jaxon rejected me!"

"Shut the fuck up bitch!" Jaxon scoffs, banging the sides of his chair. "I am your mate, not that old man!"

Wait a moment!

So this is it?

So he now wants me to be his mate yet he loathes me that much?

He calls me all sorts of bad names, even at this moment yet he expects me to be cool with him as my mate? Oh my goodness, somebody should hold my tongue!

"What did you just say!" I ask him, turning to face him. I'm sure both rage and fury are showing on my face. "You rejected me first and it took me time to heal, until I rejected you back!" I blurt out.

"I never accepted your rejection, bitch but you went running to my father for solace. Who knows if you're fated mates or he just selected you to be one of his concubines to replace my mother!"

"Hell no!" I say angrily. "How dare you say such rubbish about your father the Alpha?" I question him, daring him to continue spewing venom and nonsense if he so wishes.

"You can never replace my mother, even in a million years!" He hits back.

"And those aren't my intentions, Jaxon. The moon goddess planned it to be th way it is!" I say boldly, eyeing him daringly.

"How dare you talk back at our boss?" A rogue standing nearby, slaps me hard across my face, numbing my skin around the cheek instantly. That's after Jaxon signals him to hit me.

"How dare you Jaxon? Your father won't take it easy with you!"

"You're mine and that is final!"

"Why are you determined to have me back yet you hate me so much?" I ask curiously.

"You'll find out soon, Omega wolf!"

"Your father is my mate and-"

"Fuck my father! Fuck Alpha Waylon! Fuck him!" He scoffs as he stands and walks towards me on the chair. "Put your camera on, film everything." He commands the one with a phone to take a video. "And you, call that number and give it to this bitch here!" He says while pointing at me. "And you bitch, tell my father that you're no longer interested in him and that you have run away with me. Reject him instantly!"

"I won't!" I say firmly, retaining my stand.

"If you don't then, let my boys deal with you!"
