2020-12-11 09:10:05This time it was Nick unable to sleep staring up at the ceiling fan. Cheyenne was cuddled up beside him fast asleep but his mind would not turn off. He wasn't even positive why.
After Cheyenne's surprise visit in the shower and the following rounds in the bed, they had both gotten up and cleaned up before getting dressed. Cheyenne had helped him change the sheets on his bed and had even gone and started the wash for him while he found them something to eat for supper.
Nick had ended up cooking steaks on the grill. He had been craving them and she hadn't cared. The grilling had only reminded him of Ed's upcoming 4th of July BBQ.
