Chapter 4

Michael's POV

I had waited here for over half an hour,what's keeping her or didn't she see my note. Maybe she doesn't like me too.

I know the situation is kinda awkward,but I felt the chemistry. I never believed in love at first sight but now I do. 

    I'm not sure if I love her yet but,I feel something for her.

If someone narrates this to me, I'll laugh and tell him to go get some good sex, because he's suffering from misplaced wants.

I'm not a player, but I stopped believing in love a long time ago. Me waiting here is still surreal.

   I put my hands in my pocket, it was so cold outside.

   "Sorry I kept you waiting... I was busy"I heard her voice and my heart stopped.

I looked up to meet her eyes and I froze immediately.

  "Hello!!.."her voice brought me back to reality.

  "Hmm...what???".I slurred.

  "I have called you five times..are you ok??".. she said with concern.

   " I'm fine"I answered

  "I saw your note...what do you want to tell me"...she asked with aplomb

  "I just wanted us to talk....and...and I... be friends, that's if you don't mind, I really like you, I just hope I don't seem too pushy or forward"I told her.

 She seemed uncertain, she then said"but I barely know you, and besides we just met..am not even supposed to be here...how am I sure this friendship is genuine... I do admit I like you but I have a whole lot on my hands to handle another disappointment."

 "I really understand but please, it takes a day to know someone... I really will appreciate if you consider this."I responded.

  "What about your girlfriend won't she be angry... I mean yea we would just be friends but I have heard of girls who go crazy when they see their man with other girl"she said,that left me confused,which girlfriend is she talking about?

  "Which girlfriend??"I have to ask.

Natty's POV

   Did he just ask me, which girlfriend. I reminded him about the girl he brought to the restaurant but he just laughed.

  "Oh my god...she is my boss. Was that the reason you didn't even look at me the other day. You were jealous Hun??"

  I was embarrassed,he just found out about my feelings. I blushed slightly.

  He just laughed. I love his laugh. I was falling for him. Failing really hard.

  We talked alot,like we had been friends since forever.I also told him about my accommodation problem,he just nodded. He also told me about himself but he avoided talking about his family. I wondered why. Or was he disowned like me,I tried bringing it up but he changed topic immediately,I wanted to ask why,but it would be too pushy. I just let it slide.

  The evening ended and I went back to the restaurant smiling. Today was great!!!.
