Chapter 46 Confused

(Venal POV)

I called Kevin to prepare for Miss Dahlia’s departure tonight. He was taken aback by my order. Perhaps he had a premonition of what was on my thoughts a while ago. Kevin, we get it wrong.

"We've already taken her family out of town, Sir Venal." Kevin is confused because Miss Dahlia has no family to which she may return.
