Chapter 27 We head to the meeting spot and Shane takes my hand in his, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. Samantha throws her arms around Luke’s neck and stands on her tippy toes. I am pulled out of my thoughts about Shane when Brandon playfully starts to push me out of his car. I only now realize that we are at my parents' house. Which I guess is no longer part of our pack. Waking up the next day in my pack house room, I walk over to the window and look down at the training field. It was yet another Tuesday, and also training day. Even though I was only gone Saturday-Monday, it feels as though I have been gone a lot longer. I get dressed and head down early to stretch and get ready. When I get there, my father is already there along with Tim and Logan. "Good morning Ellie. I was just informing Tim and Logan about my upcoming retirement and new pack situation, along with the fact that they will compete for my position." My dad speaks to me like he could care less that I am not even a consideration for the position. We both just laugh a little and Colin takes me by surprise when he plants another kiss onto my lips. We get off the ground and he stands behind me so that my back is against his chest. His arms wrap around me pretty much showing me off to the pack. "Goddess, he's perfect!" Leia purrs into my head. "Geeze, a couple of kisses and a smile and you're lovestruck!" Leia flicks her tail up and turns away from me. I giggle at her tantrum and she lets off a low playful growl. I'm so glad we have each other again.
