SARAH

"There's my babies!"

My mom. Clearly excited to see Shane and I. She smothers us with kisses and hugs.

I run to my dad and jump into his arms. "Hi, honey!" His big arms hold me tight.

"I missed you." I said burying my head in his neck.

He pats my back. "I missed you too, baby girl."

"How was the trip?" My mom asks, taking our backpacks.

"It was good. Shane's still an idiot." I smirk.

He pushes my arm. "At least I'm not a brat. I swear she holds the record for most disciplinary action ever giving to a recruit."

"Shut up, Shane!" I punch his arm.
