Logan along with Celia fell asleep on the tree and woke up just when the sun was about to set after his animalistic senses alerted him of something incoming. He looked around in confusion as he shook her shoulders and she stirred, but she didn’t wake up.

"Do you hear that Celia?" he asked, nudging her shoulder again, but she didn't even budge this time. He placed her head on one of the bags before he got up and took a look at their vicinity but found nothing there, except for the lizards that were constantly disturbing the dead leaves.

He took in a sigh of relief as he got back to her. They needed to continue their journey because he didn't want them spending the night at some random place. He stretched out his bones before he brought the food out of his bag and kept it on his lap.
