Kai thundered through the forest his wolf moving deftly between tress like it was doing it for practice.

Ever since he escaped from the pack three years ago he had trained himself and his wolf to be faster, better and stronger. It was the punishment he had willed upon himself for allowing his pack to use him the way they had done.

He could feel the woman on his back. He had placed her perfectly in such a position that she wouldn't fall or slip off his back no matter the speed he ran with.

Kai's primary objective now was to get her out of this woods, he knew he could do it. He knew these woods better than the people that were hunting her.
