Chapter 15: FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN

Joanna's POV

I woke up breathing heavily like I was being chased in my sleep, no doubt I had a bad dream and could not think straight. I looked around for Yolanda but she was not in the room, after eating dinner we went to sleep in the same room as Yolanda rarely sleeps in a different room when she is with me.

I went out to look for her, I was still shuddering in fear and my hands and feet were cold. I found her watching a movie, I tiptoed to where she was and sat next to her without her being able to notice when I walked into the living room to sit next to her.

When she turned and saw a figure sitting next to her in the darkroom she could not decipher that it was me, she screamed her life out without realizing how wrong she was because she was controlled by the effect of the horror she was watching and it took much scrambling to put on the lights before she could stop screaming.

" I'm sorry that you got scared. I should have put on the light but did not want to distract you." I apol
