HEARTBROKEN

woke up with a splitting headache due to his excessive drinking last night. He drank a lot of water, ordered for a nutritious meal and took some painkillers.

When he felt better, it occured to him that he hadn't seen Cindy since he woke up. He freshened up and went out to search for her but he couldn't find her. He called her number but it was unavailable.

He suddenly became worried. He didn't know if the pill he gave her last night really worked. What if she had gone out in that state and hooked up with another man?

He met the manager of the resort and requested to see their CCTV footage. On the screen he saw when Cindy went out of the room the first time and when she returned and left again with her luggage.

It dawned on him that Cindy wasn't going to give him a chance to even explain himself. He went back to his room and thought about what he was going to do. Cindy wasn't supposed to go back to the office until the next day. Before then he needed to bridge the gap between himself
