Chapter 13

   Melissa woke up that evening alone on her bed, her body tucked under her warm duvet, heating her up. She rolled lazily before stretching to meet the other side of the bed. Her eyes flicked open, she stared at her side to find the bed empty.

   Quickly, she jumped out of the bed and began to look around the floor for her clothes but didn't find any. Instead, she found the arrangement on the side of the bed where Williams had supposed to be.

   "I am such a loser" she slapped her head as she head to the bathroom.

   Tears rolled down her eyes as she wondered how close she must have been to having intercourse with the man she hates to love. Her heartaches on how lightheaded she must have been to think that Williams would have something for her.
